Are mods still installed in Gamedata?

I have been trying to get a couple mods to work (MechJeb and Planetshine). I have unzipped both to the Gamedata folder just like I did in .90 and they show up but nothing changes in-game. What am I doing wrong?

Are you in career mod and planetshine should work just fine.

I am in Career mode yes, and Planetshine is working as I can tell from orbit but nothing at all is appearing for Mechjeb. In career or sandbox.

you have toolbar ? or mechjeb part on craft ? and career mod you have to unlock stuff for mechjeb.

I do realize it has to be unlocked in career but it isn't even showing up in the tree..or in sandbox mode

With a part on ? you should have a tab on the right hand side of the screen or you can run a MM like so you don't have to put one of the mechjeb parts on

Ok this is where I feel stupid..I have no idea where/how to use that code. I just know that the mechjeb folder is in gamedata and nothing shows up.

You do need ModuleManager.*.*.* installed which if you have any mods install you already have it and just put this file anywhere in KSP/GameData https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/72893034/UFO/MechJebCore.cfg

EDIT- Install path for mechjeb should be KSP/Gamedata/MechJeb2

Ok, did a full re-install of KSP. Works fine so I downloaded MechJeb and Planetshine. Downloaded them to the Gamedata folder like always. They are there but not showing up in-game. I am so confused. Please help if you know what I am doing wrong.

Are you in Career or Science mode? If you're in either one, then you have to use !!SCIENCE!! to get MEchJeb to work.

otherwise, it should work.

That's cBBp Dragon pod it's pretty nice the IVA wasn't finished for the one, I have but still a very nice pod.
