Newbie with moding

Hello,

Could anybody write me how to install mods? I have downloaded Remote Tech and struggling to figure out where everything goes. I think I am doing it wrong since when I expand flight computer by clicking those two arrows at the bottom and the click little X button next to the command it seems that for a second some small panel appears bellow the command and then quickly goes away.

It goes in the Gamedata folder. Did you downlaod it from STEAM or the KSP site?

Usually in the ZIP file of most mods you download will have a file called "Gamedata". Click on it, then drag the contents of what is INSIDE the GameData to you KSP GameData. I can give you more specific details if you tell us if you are going via Steam or the website. (Where you bought it)

you mean the game itself? Yeah from KSP site. I have put the Remote Tech folder and all contents of the ZIP file in GameData.

Do you know on which part of the mod I have referenced? I have tried to capture that disappearing part but it just goes to fast.
