Those Little Things...

Not a gameplay question, but a discussion.

I've been playing KSP for little over a year and a half. Today when I clicked on my kerbal info in the map view to see what class he was it said above his class "Max Absorb Garment".

I never noticed that before! When I first had the question in this thread multiple people answered (thankyou) but now I want to ask you:

What little things did you not notice in KSP for a long time?

1. What is that?

2. Are there any little things like this that you all didn't notice for some time?

1, It's the undergarment NASA astronauts wore during Mercury, Gemini and Apollo, it wasn't required on the STS or the ISS though.

2, Took me ages to find out I could rename any craft from the tracking station knowledge base.

The max absorb garment is a new development in kerbosafety technology. This enables kernels to live without life support, using special functions to utilize the body's own natural resources to create a closed ecosystem within the suit! It is also the reason why kernels can safely de-orbit and land without the aid of a craft, parachute or heat shield.

I think that's just another argument for them being a plant based lifeform. Wearable Terrarium? Yup a plant.

Or would that be a wearable Kerrarium? bada-ting!

I found out a while ago that astronauts wear diapers...Don't tell anybody!

Think of it this way. The Gemini capsule barely had enough room for two people to sit, most likely not very comfortably, and there were no "facilities". Nevertheless, in Gemini 7 Jim Lovell and Frank Borman spend 14 days orbiting the Earth just to prove you could spend that long in space.

If there was ever any doubt that these men are/were heroes... just try sitting in your own waste for 14 days.
