Unlocking science nodes without science

I started playing in science mode yesterday, today while playing the game crashed mid mission. When I restarted the game I noticed my rocket couldn't fly anymore due to locked parts, as it turns out two of my science nodes had reset themselves without refunding me in any form

If you do alt+f12 (modifier key + f12) it will bring up the debug menu, and you can unlock science nodes from there. If you're doing science mode out of the enjoyment of challenge and having objectives, I would advise against cheating further.

Thanks for the help, and no I don't plan on cheating further science mode is too fun to cheat
