Kerbal Space Program Gamer’s Edition is now available!

Recommended Posts

The FAQ is rather clear, unfortunately. The campaign will run til the deadline (end of July), then... nothing. This edition will not make it to production.

With so many pre-orders still being required, I don't think they will consider extending the campaign.

Oh see that's where I was uncertain. This thread was created on the 4th of June, so I thought we had until the ~4th of July, and thus it would be too late already. Thanks.

So there's no way to get just the patch? I would buy just the patch.

They might do a "consolation prize" like they did with the failed Papers Please edition. But that was just a poster; something super cheap to make. The only thing equally cheap in this case would be either the mobile or cardboard-cutout backdrop.

Um. 2,500 minimum orders? Geez! I would never have expected that many to spend $85.

I think SQUAD seriously overestimated our interest.

Over* estimated you mean? Under doesn't really fit with the sentiment of the other part of your post. Or perhaps you mean misunderestimated?

I would buy just the patch. Also I would buy one or two of the figures; one of those would be a great hood ornament for my car.

Really I think they should have asked players what they thought should be included with the Gamer's Edition.

should have asked players what they thought

Squad could have prevented the whole PS4 issue and made tons of money while keeping good PR had they followed this rule.

SPOILER: They didn't.

I for one look forward to the ps4 version, I love both my PC and my consoles.

Tell us about it when you get it! I'm sure there are many like me, who don't own a PS4 and want to know how it works!

It's dead, Jim. I forget when the deadline was, exactly, but the KSP Gamer's Edition has officially expired...

Edit: Should've looked at the first post. July 29th, it died. Nobody seemed to have noticed, did they? :sticktongue:

Could probably make them yourself pretty easy with a good printer and some glossy sheets of card, actually.
