I think that's your best station yet. I like the module on the far side, away from Orion, it suggests cooperation by more than one space agency, different styles of building space station modules. I'd also love to see some modules hanging off the port and starboard CBMs too!

Hope testing is coming along well, I think the Chaka mod is what's keeping me from really playing 1.1 right now!

Trying to get this ready for you guys as soon as possible, all the new features are already developed so it's just a matter of testing out the various craft files

Chaka Monkey Exploration Odyssey is a space program based on NASA and Boeing proposals for future missions. Part models from a wide variety of authors have been licensed, and new original models made, then combined with all new textures, sizes and configurations, to create craft files depicting the proposed missions. This project is modeled at 75% real scale.

 

♦ Recommend installing this pack into a clean KSP install for the first time.

♦ Latest version of Raster Prop Monitor needed for IVA function. Link included in download.

♦ Copy everything in provided GameData to your GameData

can I get a bit of clarification on this? Does this pack actually package these parts or just make use of these parts models/textures for its own parts? What happens when we already have all or some of these mods installed?

The parts have been duplicated and retextured, and exist in their own folder. You shouldn't have any issue if you already have these packs in your game data folder

We can confirm this may be a KSP issue. Sometimes docking station craft crashes the program. We will evaluate contributions to this issue of Chaka dock ports, thank you for bringing this to our attention.

However, exiting KSP and re loading the craft results in functional docking.

I found a pretty nasty bug. I used the return to orbit Duna lander craft file and attempted to land it on Minmus. I had the legs down and as soon as I touched down onto the surface, the craft bounced violently off the surface and started spinning end over end. I stabilized the craft and attempted a second landing and the same thing happened. As soon as the landing legs touched the surface, the craft went haywire.

Agreed. We applied a fix for that, seems it's not working. We will test it with the legs up and down and see if a solution can be brought to you quickly.

Something's not right there. Does this happen with all craft files? Does it happen for you on a clean install plus Chaka? Can you post a screenshot of your debug screen when it's happening?

Update: after discussing options with the manufacturer, the decision has been made to make a new model with updated landing leg animations, which may be ready very soon.

until then, you can still land in "safe mode" by keeping the legs up or adding extra landing gear.
