Constellation Mission Packs Discussion Thread!

Because our builds are different. I will find a way round it I'm sure.

Yeah, probably. I'm keeping with a Skipper, but I'm thinking of offsetting it so it looks more real. Eh.

Anyway, still haven't added RCS to the Orion...

I went for a skipper too. And do you mean sink it into the orange tank? If so, hell yes, I do that as habit now!

I also used a Skipper, it's my favorite engine! I classed it up a little with my standard trick, though.

Has anyone put a fairing over their command module? I have a working one but I cant deploy the chutes on the pod because it says they are stowed..

I tried, but it did weird wobbly things, and I frankly don't like the yellow stripes on the fairings.

It's working fine for me.

LOL, ah that little pearl.. You just have to make sure the Fairing is staged. If it's just pulled off by the LES then even though its long gone things that where inside it don't work. I just checked, it's a well known bug.

The Ares 1 is now finished. Just a few tweaks to the much more complex Ares V and then a video will be made! Here's a teasey pic of the Ares 1:

How are you guys getting on?

Checking in fine. Altair is going well.

This is harder than I thought!

Good with Ares I and V, having trouble with rendezvous between Orion and EDS-Atair.

Glad to hear it, thanks for the rep dude. I'm very happy with it, plenty of dv, easy and smooth to fly.

I will probably fly a full mission tonight. Just to double check everything.

I did this and posted it to Reddit a while ago, but I don't think I tested if the parachute would work, but maybe I did. Oh well. :P

Thanks dude but I got it working earlier. You just have to make sure the fairing is deployed when separated.
