KSP Stats tracking on startup

Suddenly everytime I start KSP, I keep getting the "KSP Stats tracking" dialog. I have also removed all mods, and I still get the dialog.

This is entirely new behavior that started a few days ago. Nothing else was updated.

Mods versions are up-to-date.

Remember, KSP still does this even when I remove the mods.

I have the same issue (I haven't tried removing all mods yet, though). And the thing is, when I close the dialog, the graphic and conic patches limit are reset to their default values

I worked this out by installing KSP, deleting all leftover folders and reinstalling. There might be a better way though

Are you guys using a joystick or controller? There's a bug where if you start KSP without the controller you previously set up, it messes up your settings.cfg, that's probably what's resetting your choices for the stats tracking.

Try deleting settings.cfg and setting up your controller again, just be sure it's plugged in before you start KSP.

I had set up a controller, so that seems to be the case. But then this basically means I need to keep the controller always plugged in if I configure KSP to run with one? I like using a controller to fly airplanes in the atmosphere, but I don't care for it in space

Further testing would be required but it should be okay if KSP is started with that controller attached.
