Is it possible to have animations in IVA that can be triggered by a specific event? The event in question I'm looking for is switching from inFlight to IVA. Is this possible with stock or any available plugins?

Raster Prop Monitor has prop animations... but that's not what you are after.

You need to write your own mod for the event you are after.

The DeepFreeze mod has just received an animated IVA. Check out the source code.

As mentioned. My DeepFreeze Continued... mod does animations in IVA.

for what you are talking about it can be done,

But you will need to

a) create your model in blender/unity with animations.

create your part/mod

c) create code for your part/partmodule to intercept the event and do the animation
