Drill and ISRU power requirements

Now that we have the power-hungry drills in which "just add more" to increase ore yield in a shorter amount of time and likewise for the ISRU converters for resources, and recently changed temperature-controlled solar panels, do you think it's about time we get some Size3 batteries?

I end up spamming about 32 or more Size2's just to keep up, and a few solar panels to recharge when the equipment isn't in use

Size2: 4000

Size3: 16000 <--- "It's over nine thousand!"

also, maybe some larger radial batteries to go with it?

Now that we have reasonable methods for heat management, I'd rather the devs added a size 3 fission reactor instead of a larger battery pack.

Agreed. Especially because solar panels lose their usefulness near Dres orbit, fuel cells consume priceless fuel (at least until one gets ISRU infrastructure in place), and RTG are a bit underwhelming considering their weight. A nuclear reactor would go a long way towards powering up our mines. Oh well, there are mods for that.

A stock nuclear reactor would be so awesome. Wouldn't be too hard, they could just treat it as a huge RTG with tons of heat production.

Oh well. Until then, there's Near Future.
