1.0.3 uncontrollable rocket from 1.0.2 save / recover kerbals?

Hi, When the game update to 1.0.3 one of my rockets broke and is now uncontrollable.

the rocket is uncontrollable, the staging has disappear, I can not activate the part or EVA the crew. (taken screen shots of the debug bug window alt + F2)

When I map in and out the entire rocket except the main pod disappears.

I have tried launching another rocket at the same type but the there was no problem, there where error in the debug window but less.

Ideally I would like to fix the rocket, but If I could just recover the crew by altering the save file then that will do and just launch another rocket.

I do wish Squad would put this stuff up in neon when releasing a save breaking patch... but anyways, glad to be of assistance.
