No noise in vacuum

In vacuum you can't hear nothing. Explosions or engine burns can't be listened by anyone. Only the things which are in direct touch with the Kerbal/spacecraft that are you controlling.

Squad, if you add this feature I will appreciate you very much. :)

I agree. I liked how in 'Gravity' the objects that touched or scraped spacesuit could be heard only as if someone was wearing it. It was a nice detail. Something like that in KSP would be awesome too. Also metal twisting, bending and trembling when crashing into other ships/the ground.

I think this would be an excellent feature to introduce settings for. The ones that come to mind are the "classic" (i.e. the current sound in space), "muffled" (emulating a "deep ocean" type sound where engines and explosions are very muffled, which isn't realistic but arguably more aurally interesting), and "realistic" (i.e. no sound in space). I would go for muffled, myself. Also, when you're IVA, you should be able to hear your engines, etc.

Oh no. Please not this bull crap again.

Yes, you're right sound doesn't travel in a vacuum but there is also a thing about balance between realism and gameplay. This is one of those examples where realism suffers. If every bit of sound in space would be removed the game would become very sterile and boring very quick. This has been brought up and discussed dozens of times. Don't count on it being changed any time soon.

This is why RCS sounds, docking sounds, and Chatterer are my favorite mods.
