You should have drawn kerbals.

They would've broken it within 5 minutes.

When I anthropomorphize devices, I always make them love doing what they were built to do. In my mind, Spirit would never even consider going home. He was totally jazzed every day that his mission could continue.

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!

Or this one:

VbKV9DF.jpg

- Pulls up calculator - So that means:

Third last panel (all alone): January 22, 2010

Second last panel (first human visitors): March 17, 2044

Last panel (in the dome): June 5, 2102

Kinda realistic timing, surprisingly.

Wait, do Pluto's moons like, not like him or something? Do his moons isolate or bully him?

In moon years, they're in their teens now. They vanish for months at a time, never call, not even on holidays. They're also mad at him for not picking a tighter orbit. The Kuiper Belt is no place to raise your kids. In fact, it's cold as Hell.

" On April 11, 2008, Russian officials unveiled a monument to Laika. A small monument in her honour was built near the military research facility in Moscow which prepared Laika's flight to space. It features a dog standing on top of a rocket.[2][3] She also appears on the Monument to the Conquerors of Space in Moscow.[4]"

"Laika is memorialized in the form of a statue and plaque at Star City, Russia, the Russian Cosmonaut training facility.[29]"

Sorry to burst your bubble, but:

Officially, the area was known as "closed military townlet No. 1"
Star City is officially described as “closed military townlet No. 1â€Â: admission is

only granted to those given security clearance.

Star City's just the colloquial name; it isn't the name on the official books. People have submitted a proposal to re-name it "Star City" in late 2009, but as of 2011 it hasn't been approved.
