Minimus Ore Drilling + high Concentration location!

Well with that kinda of ore concentration on Minmus looks i am starting a ore mining/refinery base here after all XD!

And it's on the Great Flats, which makes base construction easy... good find! I wish I had a pocket like that on a flat. All my high-test pockets are up in the hills. :/

My career always have all the flats zero or near zero (whether 1.0.2 or 1.0.4). Cool I don't care about concentration any more.

Yep in fact on the orbital scanner the only two high deposits are in the two big flats haha i choose the top one cuz its close to the equator.

Also i was thinking why is it that the black line in the narrow band Scanner have such high ore concentrations, could it be because its where two biomes meet? or maybe an asteroid crashed down here who knows.

I find it's worth mining on the flats even with low ore concentrations. The only thing it costs is time, and it makes it very easy to land ships there. But a good % of ore on the flats is even better.

Ya in fact i parked my Beast/Base on the edge of the flats, there is a lot more room to land/develop!
