CTD in Kubuntu

Recommended Posts

So I'm experiencing unstable gameplay, with frequent crashes - mostly when switching from vessels to buildings, as well as quicksaving/loading.

Also, when mousing over stack decouplers in the stage sequence, graphic errors occur.

Specs:

Kubuntu 15.04 32-bit

Intel Core [email protected]

GeForce GT 650M

8GB Ram

Mods installed:

Kerbal Alarm Clock

Interstellar 1.3.5

KW Rocketry

ScanSat

MechJeb

Kerbal Attachment System

ATM Aggressive

RemoteTech

All mods updated.

Running from Steam with argument LC_ALL=C.

Anything else you need to know, I'll be happy to provide.

Thank you very much in advance!

Uh, yeah. There's no reason to run a 32bit OS on even remotely modern hardware.

Step1: Install 64bit GNU/Linux (or switch up your current distro if you know what you're doing ;))

Step2: Switch to 64bit KSP

Step3: Add moar mods :D

I don't, but I have professional Kubuntu tech support at hand :)

I just thought it was a general rule, cross-OS that KSP wouldn't run well on 64-bit systems.

Thanks, I'll try it :)
