[Discussion] Is there a list of all Career Mode mods somewhere? Have a favorite Career mode mod?

I'm interested in rebooting my career mode stream on Twitch.tv and I'm curious as to what game-changing career mods I should use? I have plenty of visual mods (plenty) but I don't know about which mods I should use to change the game.

-No part mods only stock parts-

If you have any mods that change gameplay that also don't add any parts (I want viewers to be able to do what I'm doing in vanilla), please post them below and I'll consider it. :)

I'm currently running a career mode with Engineering Tech Tree. It doesn't require any mods but does support many.

I've done a run through with Better Than Starting Manned the past and I notice that a new version has just been released. This actually recommends that no other part mods are used. I like the progression it offers - more focused on unmanned exploration first with manned missions being more challenging later. This will be the basis for my next play though.

There's also Open Tree as an option too. I haven't tried that one.

From your requirements BTSM might be the best place to start.

I would suggest you give any of the mods on My mod list for my series a look, but in particular:

Contract Configurator (More stuff to do)

Field Experience (Less going back home which can turn off viewers)

Science Alert (Get science quicker and therefore be less boring to viewers)

USI Life Support (which I prefer to Snacks. Note this does add parts, but I don't think you can have a decent life support mod without a couple parts. Even with Snacks, I ended up using an add-on that added a few dedicated snack storage parts)

Waypoint Manager (if for no other reason than so your viewers see how cool it is and demand it get implemented in stock)

And while not for career in particular, no one creating KSP videos should live without Ambient Light Adjustment. You're doing your viewers a disservice by not using it.

I, for obvious reasons, have to at least mention Kerbal Construction Time since it can have a pretty large effect on how you play while not using any extra parts. Definitely not for everyone, but still worth a mention. I also recommend StageRecovery with it, but it's by no means a requirement to play with KCT. I'm also like 99% sure you already know about them, but other people might see your post and be looking for something similar.
