Help with installation of mods.

I saw another thread on here about a guy that had problems installing mods on the steam version and I am having the same problem. Can I get some help because that thread seems to have died. One of the members said to put the output log on there, so assuming that it is something I might be asked for, https://www.dropbox.com/s/e2k1esdw52jxhel/output_log.txt?dl=0 there it is.

Can you please describe which specific mods you are trying to install?

Sure, it's KerbalEngineer. But it does the same thing with all other mods. With or without CKAN they don't work.

Where is KSP located on your computer?

How did you attempt to install the mods?

When you say that "they don't work", what do you mean, specifically?

- Does the game fail to start up?

- Do the parts / toolbar icons not show up in their usual places?

- Are you playing in career mode? Certain functionality from add-ons will need to be unlocked after progressing though the game.

I have KSP on a second HDD but it's in the steam directory (D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Kerbal Space Program).

I tried through CKAN and the way it is seen on a lot of youtube videos (put the file into GameData)

Game starts up fine

Yes parts, no toolbar icon and no functionality of the parts

I use sandbox to test the mods if they work.

The parts are there but no toolbar for the mod or function to the mod parts.
