i look forward to having new destinations to send this rover. Im looking forward to someday the game having a series of missions, such as sending a rover to another planet or moon and finding some sort of hidden object (as sort of an analogue to taking scientific measurements) (similar missions could be planetary mapping satellites, atmospheric probes, cometary rendezvous.

For some reason the bottom of the solar rover keeps sinking through the ground and wont drive

i have 0.16, all the required plugins (including the cart.dll)

Can anyone help me?

Can you post a screenshot to see what happened. Did the rover sink through the ground on the launch pad or is it somewhere else?

Yeah about that, I've the same problem, but I think that's because my ksp runs in program files x86, somebody telled me that's wrong, but I still don't know how it suppose to be.

About the MEM 2.0, really cool update! Your the coolest mod-maker I know, I can remember when I saw you tread for the first time (just started with this tread and your only mod was MEM 1.0), you making really much progress in mod making.

Also It'd be awesome to see your mod on www.kerbal.net , create an account and simply fill out the create mod page form - then you will have a dynamically generated signature image too and I'd love you forever <3

The last version of the rover is out. You can download it on the fisrt page. Get ready for the upcoming KSP v0.17.

New feature:

- Reduce size 1/2 to fit with 1m rocket parts

- The Rover is now really un-manned (no more MechJebPod)

- Add a MechJeb part (blue stripe) that you can substitue manually to the Skycrane ASAS (red stripe)

- Fix some wobbling issues

I don't know if I'll release again the full size rover, may be if many people ask me. But you can rescale up the rover by adding this line in the part.cfg file

rescaleFactor= 2

Is the nacelle airbag landing system going to return? I noticed it wasn't in the V4 download.

I've got to fix some issues before release it again. I think it's a little obsolete because now the skycrane can land to all planets instead of nacelle can only land to atmospheric ones. I've got 2 projects more important to do before.

I don't know if it's just me, but all the rover pre-saved crafts of the 4.0 version have the actual solar panel and camera part (upper part of the rover) turned 180° so they are all facing the rear direction, which makes the rover pretty silly. As far as I can tell, the problem is, that either the rover or the upper part have their attachment nodes placed wrong. Would a little fix be possible, please? Thanks a lot :)

You decreased the rover size, but you didn't change it's mass, why?(it's so heavy, so i need to build really big rocket, to get it to the moon)

I'll check this and fix it on monday or tuesday.

@crosshunter: Your right I forgot reducing mass of the skycrane.

I don't find what you're talking about. Can you post me a screenshot of the issue please.

okay, surely... I will do that in 5 hours as I get back home from work...

but to describe the problem right now, the rover part (or the upper rover part - I'm not sure now) has its attachment node on the oposite side than it should be so there is no way to turn it so that it would face the same direction as the camera... just have a look at your prometheus rover.craft in your pack and you will see what I'm talking about... the cart part of the rover (with headlights) is facing the oposite direction than rover camera + these panels it is attached to...

Simply try to launch just the pre-saved rover from your 4.0 version pack and you will see, that as you unfold all the components, as you drive forward, the rover camera is facing backwards.

I should also mention that I have the latest cart plugin version + original and clean installed 0.16 (it has some addons in it, but I mean clean as not updated via updater, but downloaded as 0.16) and I've never used Prometheus rover before so there are absolutely no old files left... :)
