So I took a break from the forums over the summer. Riding bikes and playing Gmod, all that stuff.

So I just noticed a change in the Reputation Bar. Some people (Like Red Iron Crown, for example) have one white rep bar. What does this mean?

It started as a joke, and then people decided they wanted to hide their rep as to not seem self centered, or rep centered. (i think)

Good question. Fake internet points (Eh, Real internet points...) shouldn't matter all that much.

Actually, I like the rep bars and I am only about 20 points away from another bar, I think... Bring on the rep...

As a side note, I give as much rep in one day as I can. I give rep to a newbie if they post something at least quasi-intelligent.

I give rep to the old timers and the multi-light green bar guys as a means of saying, "hey, you're still relevant..."

I also give rep to those on my contacts list when I feel a comment or even a photo warrants it.

Every time I see the rep bars, albeit they are green, I keep thinking it is some sort of Imperial ranking system. Maybe I just spend too much time in awe of the Galactic Empire...

I like the (irrelevant) rep, too, and give away as much as I can. Helpful mods, little tips, and mostly things that make me laugh (most of my time in the forums I'm in a stupor at work).
