You could tell by my username, couldn't you? Still, Yes! Now, what should I get up to with that 75mm gun? Hmmm......

I really, really want to see what is going to be made with that beast.

@TUKE: The current version is 1.0.4.

Twice as long? That sounds a bit too much.

Wait so the mod is 1.0.4? I though that was the game version it worked on:P

Remembering that mine is muzzle - Barrel - Receiver block - Funny cylinder bit on the end. I have quite a bit more gun modeled.

Some sort of bomber-killing heavy fighter? And yes, i KNOW that the Bordkanone 7.5 "is" meant for ground attack, BUT it is going to be used to kill bombers, which I am AWFUL at designing.

Wouldn't 50mm be more suitable for that? I mean it would still be rubbish compared to 24xR4M or 4x30mm (and two jet engines), but at least it was meant to do that more than 75mm.

I don't think that he plans to use only one 75mm.

Well, it may be hard to hit, but if it hits it's fireworks.

I can already imagine that wing-snapping recoil.

Actually, i Will be mounting the 75mm weapons on either side of the fuselage of a twin engine heavy fighter. Also, (for tetryds) any plans for a Schräge Musik- style installation?

Spelling mistake that no one saw.

You can just install the guns at an oblique angle.

Not really, it would be very hard to operate and something you can already build using the provided weapons.

Lol, if you use FAR it will be more like *fire, recover from stall while it reloads, fire again*

Tomorrow I will create a thread for some low part count replicas I made to use with this mod, the old showcase crafts were simply awful.

Btw, a Vickers S on an FW-190 looks amazing.

So, no? Oh well... still i think that turreted variants of some guns and cannons that would fit well on heavy fighters are a good idea. Edit: would it be alright to use this mod in a ground attack challenge that I will run?

Yes, of course you can use it.

Some normal turrets sound indeed like a good idea, let's see.

@TUKE: what do you mean?

Oh and btw, mine use FAR and AJE.

@UnknownOrbit: Great! :D

@everybody: we have a little surprise for the next update.

Actually, more than one.

We are not rushing it so this may take a bit of time, and it's going to be amazing.

You can find my replicas here for now: http://kerbalx.com/hangars/678

There are still some missing, which I will add as I have time, then I will make a post about it and update the mod's album to use them.

They were meant to get very close to their real life characteristics, with as low part count as it was possible.

Hope you enjoy.

*Oh, and they use AJE, which was not recognized for some reason, you can go without but the engines size change so do it at your own risk.

**Yes the Ki-43 is OP, hehe.

More crafts were added to my hangar!

You should check them out.

Be careful though, these are not toys for kids.

I will make a thread about them tomorrow.

"The Russians doubted that we would be able to fly carrying this thing...

...they won the bet."

As you would expect, placing this thing on wings is NOT RECOMMENDED.

This thing makes the Vickers S look like a machine gun.

What have i done? And, yes that gun makes the Vickers S look like a Breda-SAFAT.

Sooo... What else can we expect in the next mod update?

I really want to hear some of those custom sounds.

So much stuff, let me pick my list...

...oh crap, I lost it.

Well, I cannot remember everything by head so you will have to wait.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
