Extend!

Capable of 33tons of hydrolox to LEO in KSRSS.

Nice Alternate of the Saturn II INT-19.   I assume those are GEM engines.    Real INT-19 would have been using TU-122 (Civilian use version of the first stage from Minuteman ICBM)

The Algol is a close fit (size wise) but the performance is way out there.

Still some bugs to iron out, but...

I have some very cursed idea Jupiter-III but it's Saturn

Extended SI-D filled with Hydrolox, single M-1 Sustainer. 4 F1 feed by 4 droptanks made of ETS Saturn MLV tanks, which each have AJ-260 at bottom.

Basically a cursed version of V-4/260

Waiting for AJ-260 revamp to make this one

On this note how will the S-IVC extension be handled? 2 parts as before the revamp or just a length switch like the other Saturn tankage?

Length switch.

Is there a possibility of adding an LH2/O switch for the Thor vernier so it can be used with cryogenic stages? Or, because Atlas will get revamped soon, for the LR105 verniers?

uhhhhh idk

Is this just an ETS thing or was it an actual proposal because it seems like a very logical next step in the evolution of the J-2

The first J-2X program (the one that gave us the inflatable nozzle extension in BDB) has a similar setup.

This is "someone on the RO server ran the numbers and the ETS Artemis program's J-2A2 can't get the performance it claims without an extension"

Yes, I am planning on doing the Block II AARDV. I'll be using the HabTech2 Destiny texture as reference since they're meant to be identical if not similar.

Cool, looking forward to the next update. Keep up the good work.

and the second J-2X program is what gives us the fun Aerospikes...   Like the J-2T-200K, -2T-250K, -2T-400K (only one of those not built) and the J-2L-200K *COUGH* LTBE L-1 and LTBE L-2 and via the X-33 program the XRS-2200.

Unlike the First J-2X program the Second one resulted in hardware creation for every option except the J-2T-400K.   None of the Hardware was flight capable but they did make all of the other engines I mention above....

yet is is only the THIRD J-2X program that people seem to want to talk about... and it has nothing to do with the J-2 or J-2S engine.

Will we eventually have texture variants? Like SOFI or copper.

Also is it plausible to modify current S-II and S-IVB interstage to a longer version for stuff like Nuclear or M-1?
