@hraban It allows to manage the heat dissipation, parameter seemed since 1.0 I believe with radiators.

For a shuttle I do not think that it is of a big importance can be to verify cargo boat bay of stock game? To compare?
The problem here is that Hermes is a single parts, thus the parts most exposed transmits all the heat in parts the most fragile.

Interestingly, the loading bays of the MK-3 have absolutely no HeatConductivity entry.

Thank you, the sublink helps.

@hraban Do you need a particular beta test on the shuttle? Situation, configuration, reentry?

Sure! You have found a way to protect standard science? Any datas/procedures for safe reentry? Post it or PM to me please.

Yes, it's posible but not my workplace :P

I play arround with a jet-driven Praglider :)

No worries. Engineers at Voidryder Aerospace, Inc will apply Paraglider to various craft- perhaps even Duna lander - as soon as able to acquire Contares Paraglider. Please leave workplace unlocked. Thank you.

Here the new Beta for Dassault Hermes. Also included is the first Paraglider.

Beta 0.3

Search Paraglider with tag = paraglider

New reentry procedure for Hermes to prevent overheating of stored cargo.

As the planed original the inital AoA is 40°. Reduce the AoA at a s altitude of 30km slowly to 19°.

Above 1300 m/s reduce the AoA more.

Pictures? Yes!

Contares BB Wings mount on an RIVER Main-LFO Tank.

It's a tricky way to safe the Booster. The maintank needs a structural increase. At the nose a counterweight is need to find a useable point of CoM and CoD. The 1.1.3 basic gears are subobtimal (better waste!).

HOPE? Japanese?

I'll second that guess... the Hope-X for sure

EDIT: Absolutely love your spaceplanes by the way, and can't wait to see what you come up with next. The "Pinbol" has become my new favourite capsule for rescue and tourist missions.

Right! It's a bigger HOPE-XL with two sideways science instrument bay's and integrated solarpanels. The spaceplane will hold 2 kerbals but it's a automated spaceplane.

My most humble apologies. I will retire to hanger and sweep floor.
