Atlantis-Style Monoproellant Engines.

Saltless Lemons

Does anyone know of a mod that adds an engine exactly like the O-10 "Puff" Engine that runs on monopropellant and responds to throttle controls, but is powerful enough for use on a space shuttle, similar to the engines on the Atlantis? (The little ones on the top, just above the 3 main ones). I'm looking for an engine powerful enough to perform basic orbital maneuvers, and maybe even go to the Mun (not sure about that though). Appreciate the help,

Luke

RLA has a number of monoprop engines ranging from tiny "ant" engine sized all the way to 2.5m. The 1.25m monoprop engine in particular is inspired by the engine used to power the apollo service module which coincidentally also powered the space shuttle OMS. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AJ10 simply radially attach an advanced nose cone and stick the engine on the bottom and you are set.

Each AJ10-190 OME provides 26.7kN of thrust. Shuttles were ~75t dry, and could loft about 20t of cargo. That means a TWR of 0.074 to 0.055. So I'd say the ingame Puffs are about right. :)
