So, the Porsche 109-005 engine is actually just a really bad copy of the Jumo 004, by the Porsche company, before they gave up on designing aircraft. It was never really built, and if it was, it would looks, and perform like a Jumo 004.

Noted ! It wasn't a priority, anyway !

I didn't think it was, I was just gonna let you know...

The next thing I would model if I was you, was the different Sanger, and Lorin ramjets, You have the Lorin done, now the Sanger is left, as well as the other models.

Pretty much what I have in mind. As the jumo is kinda the juno, it can wait a little longer :)

The next will be the one on the blueprints you provided. Then probably the Super Lorin.

I like the parts, I do have a small forum page tip, to make it more organised

You should make a single album for the parts, like the vab part discription, and then a few for the ship pictures or a spoiler for each craft that you dont have a huge album with a lot of differnd pictures, it woul also be nice if the .craft files where included

I'm working on a ramjet engine design, but I need a better cockpit to work with... making a Skoda Kauba by the way...

You may want to re-name your mod to something that represents all of the engines... or something to do with them like:

Last ditch effort, a collection of .... Germany's best engine and aircraft designs

Pagan_Scorpions collection of unique German jet propulsion

Or just 'Pagan_Scorpion's German Jet Workshop', because, while they were quite remarkable given that the industry was a mess, German WW2-era engine were not unique (although the pulsejets and ramjets could be considered so), nor of particularly good quality. Just a little less misleading.

Also, this might be of interest: http://www.deutsches-museum.de/en/collections/machines/power-engines/turbojet-engines/pulse-jet-engines/argus-schmidt-pulse-jet-1942/

Although it says on the page that it was built for testing purposes, it was to be installed on a few late-war cheapo jet fighters, specifically this one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Messerschmitt_P.1079

Pictures on that aircraft are quite misleading, the most conventional design looked like this: http://www.unicraft.biz/germ/me1079-13/art-1.jpg

So I'm a little late posting this but I made a video a week ago of the pulse jets in action against a biplane.

Would it be possible to do some "Rusty" versions so I can use it with the Rusty Star Rockets Mod?
Rusty sounds really dumb to me, but that is my opinion, I can make you a rusty "skin" for it, with the mod makers permission, a custom skin = no need for a rusty looking part, just an optional thing.
I respect you opinion but choose to disagree. I just figured with the steampunk look of the Rusty Star Rockets mod, some matching pulsejets would be cool. Have you looked at the picture I posted?

If it's ok with the OP and you don't mind, that would be sweet. Edited by greydragon70

Like I said before, it will most likely come in the form of a skin addon, not an actual part, since modeling an entire part for it would probably take a lot more time.

This place is pretty much dead it seems...

Not at all, just being busy with life...

I'm just letting this here, in case it interests you  Imgur album (hope the imgur link works... if not : here's a steam community link )

Yes, that's a (kinda) Ju-52 with a 8m long Lorin ramjet !
Need more tweaks, but it's coming !

I'm gonna upload the update right away.
Tweaking "correctly" this engine was kinda hard, as I do not have a proper plane to test it (the former Lorin-Sänger was tested on a Me 262, for which it was built)
So, anything that can make it better will be appreciated

--Edit
Next engine will be the jumo 004.

I downloaded the update, and the Sanger version 2 is a bit odd, neither ramjet should work past mach 2.7, the second variant not working past mach 2.9 at most.

They produce insane amounts of thrust, yes, but the pressure of the air coming into the intake would cause the flame holder to flameout, or lose it's flame, and with no gas burning, it shouldn't work past that speed.

However, if they had shock cones, that would solve that problem, but they do not, so that should be modified, just a little information.
