this is my first proper story writing, so don\'t expect it to be top-notch

#STORY IS NOT FINISHED#

As Kris Kones underwent briefing in the New Spearksville spaceport, he felt half-mystified, half in complete exitement, for this was not only his first mission in the Spearkan Space Agency (SSA) it was his first ever visit to the Spearkan Federation.

Kones was of Taheirian origin, first working in Avian aerospace as a pilot for their most high-rank planes, but, as like that, he recieved a letter of invitation from the SSA to pilot their spaceplanes, for him, this was a new experience, he always knew the Spearkan Federation had a different nature, but how different was beyond him entirely.

Upon the very moment he landed in New Spearksville airport, he felt the change immediately, the whole airport\'s architecture and the buildings around it curved uniformly around the walls, but not at all like a snake, more like a hand-made pot, fluidly curving to give the correct shape; Kris immediately felt his arrival to the Federration was like a trip to the future, despite the fact that the Spearkans aren\'t really technologically ahead.

After taking the nearest station on what seems to be a maglev train to the spaceport, the saw the many few settlements pass through him as fast as lightning, but in the same futurism-based architecture.

now the briefing was over, for his mission was rather simple, fly the spaceplane to Minmus, take samples at different depths, then return.

He stepped out of the main space center building, looking up at its futuristic splendor, before gazing upon the runway.....and the craft he was going to pilot.

The very object on the runway just appeared to be a thing of beauty, this was the SF-IPS, the Federation\'s greatest created since the reunification 60 years before, it was outfitted with the latest technology and the best resources for the job, no wonder, this was intended to reach other planets!

Kris hastily got into the craft and immediately noticed something; despite the Federation feeling completely alien so far, these controls felt extremely familiar, with the exeption of the computers predicting orbital trajectory which he was already taught about in the briefing.

After 2 hours of loading and pre-flight checks, the SF-IPS was ready to go; after mission control gave the all-clear, Kones gradually engaged the craft\'s engines
