What does it do? It shows Kerbin time, of course.

How to use:

• The .craft file goes to Ships/VAB or Ships/SPH (in the KSP folder or in your save), the .ks file goes to {KSP folder}/Ships/Script
• Deploy somewhere (design whatewer delivery method you prefer)
• Copy timer.ks into the kOS processor.
• Run timer.ks
• Note: the script sets itself as the boot script (so it will reactivate whenever the craft is loaded). If you rename the script file, be sure to change the correspondinding line
   

Requirements:

Note that due to using doAction calls the script requires level 3 VAB/SPH when used in career.

 

Power usage notes:

• This is fully solar powered version.
• The most of power consumption comes from the probe core and it eats almost all the battery capacity through the night on Kerbin.
• If deployed somewhere where night time is longer than on Kerbin (or just in shadow), adding an RTG is recommended.
• Lights are tuned to minimal power. If you want to use this for lighting up your base, change the setting in the editor. Ensure adequate power supply.
