Object #: DCE-001

Object Class: Ceter

Preventive Measures -

The grounds around DCE-001 are to be cleaned every two months in order to prevent another [DATA REMOVED]. All personnel except for ID-J members should be kept in a 50m radius from DCE-001. No unauthorized personnel should enter within 50 meters of DCE-001. Any personnel who disobeys orders are to be terminated immediately. It should be noted that there is evidence to support the fact that there are more DCE-001s around Kerbin and the Mun. All efforts are currently in place to find and collect all of them.

Description -

DCE-001-1 is a large 'Munolith' that sits approximately ? kilometers North-North East from the KSC. It was first discovered when astronaut ??? ?????? discovered it after the ?????-Incident for the ??? Space Program. Agency soldiers have isolated and secured the site since. Currently the only way to observe DCE-001-1\'s effects is by entering it\'s 50m radius. Any form of unmanned vehicle or camera will deactivate when entering or observing DCE-001. When a camera films DCE-001 from afar, it returns a video of a Kerbal [EXPLETIVE]. Any Kerbal who views the video will be terminated immediately before they [DATA EXPUNGED]. Infrared and Slow Motion cameras can take a distorted picture of DCE-001-1 when within the aura.

DCE-001-1 generates a gravity field that pulls in light. When a Kerbal enters the 50m radius, their vision blurs as they approach DCE-001-1. Dr.???? noted that there was a strong urge to touch DCE-001-1 after accidentally entering it\'s 50m Radius (See Incident Report AA-0-1).

DCE-001-1 has a secondary effect. If any Kerbal makes contact with DCE-001-1, they are violently [REDACTED]. For every contact, an additional ID-J is required to touch it. If the extra contact isn\'t made, a CK-End of World Scenario will happen as DCE-001-1 creates DCE-???. Currently, for every contact, 200 ID-J must touch it again to stop the CK Event.

DCE-001 Cannot be destroyed.

DCE-001 Cannot be stopped.

DCE-001 Is dangerous.

We must contain it at all costs.

Further testing is prohibited by a unanimous vote of all ID-4 Senior Staff members.

DCE-002:

Object #: DCE-002, DCE-002-B

Object Class: Auge

Description - DCE-002 is a Kernager EVA suit prototype in LKO, with an inclination of [REDACTED]. The suit\'s visor is cracked, but the solar shield is up, making it impossible to see inside. The visor is unbreakable, and the suit is as hard as stone. The suit is a faded orange, bleached a lighter shade due to the sun\'s constant light on one side, except when the suit passes into the night side. The orbital period is [REDACTED], so encounters are rare, as the suit is going slower than required for orbit, yet never changes altitude. There is a large metal fragment piercing the EVA thruster fuel tank, and the tank is empty.

Preventative Measures - DCE-002 should never be approached. This lesson was learned when the previously classified O-1 unmanned test mission came within 10 meters of the suit, and prodded it with the KanadaArm onboard. The suit grabbed the arm, snapped it, and pushed the ship away. DCE-002-B appeared, being an old Noyuz-TKA capsule. The craft accelerated towards DCE-002, and DCE-002 climbed inside. DCE-002-B then accelerated away. On the next orbit, DCE-002 was observed climbing back out of DCE-002-B in an undamaged suit, and DCE-002-B losing control, slamming a solar panel into DCE-002, cracking the visor and piercing the EVA fuel tank, recreating the damage seen before. DCE-002 spun away, and DCE-002-B began decelerating, and reentered. On the ground below, no reports of a reentering spacecraft were filed, and trained DCE telescopes did not observe the incident. DCE-002 spun back into the O-1, and knocked the control computer off. The craft de-orbited, and ejected the footage over DCE HQ, at [DATA EXPUNGED]. The O-1 then tumbled out of control and crashed.

To avoid an encounter like the one mentioned above, simply do not touch DCE-002 or DCE-002-B. The suit can be observed as closely as possible without touching it, or the suit will break whatever touched it, and then be picked up by DCE-002-B. For this reason, neither DCE-002 or DCE-002-B can be contained. DCE-002-B\'s orbit is unknown at the time. Experiments are only allowed by trained personnel and robots in conjunction. This is to prevent death of personnel of the class [REDACTED]. We keep this information private to avoid anyone asking if they can 'touch the suit', or 'attempt to tether it'.

This occurred once before the class data was removed, and the subject was injured severely by DCE-002. The subject recovered, but went mentally insane and was terminated.

DCE-003:

metalstatue.jpg

Object #: DCE-003

Object Class: Auge

Description - DCE-003 is a statue of a young kerbal child looking at the ground. There is a small label that says 'Hello,' followed by the name of the person who\'s looking at it. Subjects have reported to feel the urge to drink blood. The statue also appears to be indestructible and if looked at by more then 1 person it kills the subjects looking at them. Method of killing is unknown. Not looking at it seems to have no consequences.

Preventative Measures - Statue needs to be contained in a 10x15 room at 15°C. Room has to be cleaned every 3 weeks by 1 person

Only 1 subject may enter at all times, subjects also have to wear special equipment mainly consisting of ???? and ??????? . By order of safety

no subject can touch the statue with bare hands. After testing subjects must go bathe in ????????? and go to the local psychiatrist.

Only ID-3 only, also ID-J if ordered b ID-3.

Note #1:

Dr. ??????? ????? Was found sucking the blood of a fish close to ????? docks.

DCE-004:

Object #: DCE-004, AKA 'The Space Kraken'

Object Class: Auge

Preventative Measures - As of now, the only known way to combat the DCE-004 is not to go into warp speed in [REDACTED] orbits. Scientists hypothesize that the Kraken is somehow infinitely large and has infinite mass, which allows it to travel faster than light to prey on various satellites and rockets warping through the universe. The DCE-004 is most likely indestructible.

Description - The DCE-004 is a large, powerful, seemingly invisible being that seems to inhabit [REDACTED] orbit. It seems to only be able to travel by warping time around itself, and therefore can only prey on ships travelling at extremely high altitudes and using similar warp speeds. In every case, the so-called Space Kraken leaves no trace of the rocket it destroys, leaving not a single trace. However, probes sent out have transmitted extremely strange transmissions, just moments before being [REDACTED]. The readings are always [REDACTED] in nature, and scientists have begun studies to find the Kraken utilizing these past readings.

In one case, a manned research probe was attacked by the Kraken just as it was leaving [REDACTED] orbit, and one man lived to send a few transmissions before his spacecraft was destroyed. He seemed to have gone completely insane, and most of the transmissions were gibberish, but some words were able to be understood. An official copy of the transmissions is located in file [REDACTED].

DCE-005:

Object #: DCE-005

Object Class: 'Safe'

Preventative Measures - Avoid strong electromagnetic forces near it (Circa 100 M)

Description - Synthetic material based on the last analysis on neutron stars. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS hyper-dense material, with strange proprieties, including a super-strong dynamo effect. It\'s creating facility is Top-Secret priority alpha.

No magnets or any kind of strong electronic devices must be near at at ANY given time. Minimal grade team to study it: ID-1 Recommended: ID-2

DCE-127:

Object #: DCE-127

Object Class: Harmless

Preventative Measures: DCE-127 is to be kept in a secure safe in the Site-22 vault and secured by electronic padlock, guarded by a 'small standard' detachment as per Agency protocols. As DCE-127 is possessed of no obvious powers granting it the ability to inflict long-term harm upon personnel, it is not necessary to wear protective equipment when handling it, but handlers are advised only to touch the detachable pedestal which exhibits no anomalous properties, or the cardboard box in which the object is normally contained.

Description: DCE-127 is a small (14cm on long axis of symmetry; 5cm in diameter) plastic model of a ciliated bacterium, the only remaining piece of a set of educational childrens\' toys called 'Build Your Own MICROBES! [emphasis manufacturer\'s]' that was discovered in the desk drawer of Simkin Kerman, a 7-year-old child. All instances of the manufacturer\'s name on the package and the object have either been scratched off or damaged beyond recognition. DCE-127 was brought to the Agency\'s attention on [REDACTED] after operatives working as doctors at the [REDACTED] hospital informed the Agency of the sudden hospitalization of several children who had been brought in for extreme nausea as well as what was described as a 'burning, hot sauce-like' sensation upon the skin followed by severe rash and dryness. Drs. Folger, [REDACTED], and [REDACTED] noted upon close inspection that the children had begun to develop large patches of 'short, but thick, moving hair' and alerted Site-22, which dispatched Itinerant Collection Unit (ICU)-14 'Plague Doctors' to obtain samples from [REDACTED] and investigate the origin of the childrens\' condition. Investigation found that the children had all been playing at the Kermans\' house 4 hours prior to the incident, and had all collapsed suddenly at dinnertime, prompting Simkin\'s parents to call the hospital. The house was searched and DCE-127 acquired; following the incident, Level-1 amnesiacs were distributed to non-DCE and a cover-up story was passed to the public.

DCE-127\'s anomalous properties manifest when it is attached to its pedestal in an upright position, standing on its long axis; there are multiple points of attachment present on the model, but anomalous properties will not exhibit themselves when the model is connected in these ways. When it stands on its long axis, DCE-127\'s opaque 'nucleus' will glow a dull red, and the plastic 'cilia' will begin to move slowly, apparently inhibited by the rigidity of the material from which they are made. No obvious means of mobility are apparent, although testing has confirmed the presence of a small electrical current across DCE-127\'s surface during periods of activity. If the tip of the model opposite the pedestal is pressed against a Kerbal subject\'s palm for a period of 1 minute or longer, the 'nucleus' will begin to exude a cloud of what appears to be a dark grey gas, or smog; captured samples of the material reveal that the cloud is comprised of an extremely fine particulate. The cloud will attempt to move toward the subject, and upon contact with the skin nearly instantly disappears. From this point on the subject is known as DCE-127-1.

Around 4 hours after exposure to DCE-127, DCE-127-1 will become disoriented and fall to the ground, typically while complaining of one or more symptoms including severe nausea, stomach cramps, severe itch, searing pain across the skin, and weakness in the limbs. They will also develop a severe rash and skin dryness which cannot be alleviated by any known medication. Approximately two hours after these symptoms manifest, the subject will begin to display stubbly hair growth not unlike '5 o\'-clock-shadow' all across the body, beginning in large patches. This occurs regardless of sex or previous hair growth; and as the condition progresses, hair that was already present will fall out in order for the folliciles to accomodate the new growth. Testing of skin samples from numerous ID-J subjects reveals that the structure of the folliciles is undergoing rapid change during this time. Once the new stubble comes in, it will begin to move, seemingly of its own accord. The stubble itself, which is presumed to be an imitation of bacterial cilia, is nothing like Kerbal hair; although curiously, it exhibits few if any similarities to actual cilia, likely due to the difficulty of reconstructing such a structure on the macroscopic level using Kerbal tissue.

Over the course of several weeks, the structures that have replaced DCE-127-1\'s original hair (or grown in in place of any at all) will grow out to their full size, broadening at their ends in a manner unlike bacterial cilia into a shape vaguely resembling a thin aquatic fin. At the same time, DCE-127-1\'s rash will spread over their skin until it encompasses nearly all of the dermis; during this period the epidermis will be shed, often in an irritating manner that requires pieces to be scratched off in order for them to fully detach. The rash will then begin to disappear; by the one-month mark, it is usually gone altogether, replaced in the skin by a sickly grey pallor. The skin by this point is extremely tough, save for sensitive areas that were not affected by the rash (usually membranous zones like the eyelids, lips, etc.) and is difficult to penetrate with a blade. The 'cilia,' on the other hand, are more easily cut; and when this is done, the structures ooze a thick, transluscent blue substance. This does not appear to cause much pain to DCE-127-1. Subjects are capable of floating much more easily in water, and can direct their 'cilia' consciously to allow them to move slowly through a liquid substance without normal swimming efforts.

Once the transformation is complete, the effects will last about a week before reverting. The reversion process takes nearly the same amount of time as the original transformation, and can be stalled for another week by handling DCE-127 again in the above-described manner so as to trigger its anomalous effects once more. There does not seem to be a limit as to how long this process can go on; however, careful measurements have revealed that with each successive use, the mass of the model decreases slightly, which may suggest a boundary.

ADDENDUM: On [REDACTED], DCE-127\'s mass fell below the [REDACTED]-mark and several of its cilia cracked off when it was bumped against a wall. Further testing is currently suspended.

DCE-415:

Object #: DCE-415 (am I allowed to put a random-ish number in? because if not, make that 006.)

Object Class: Ceter

Description: DCE-415-A appears to be a slightly oversized, badly rusted Mark I command module commonly used in Kerbal Space Agency flights. Unlike a standard Mark I command module, it has a hatch mounted on the top as well as on the side. Should this hatch be opened, a seemingly endless amount of DCE-415-B will come out. DCE-415-B has been described as a 'dark, shadowy thing from hell' by all witnesses. DCE-415-B attempts to kill any living creatures nearby, resorting to attacking each over if all life within 100 meters of DCE-415-A has been killed.

Preventative Measures: Under no circumstances is DCE-415-A to be approached by more than one Kerbal at a time. Subjects within 100 meters feel an urge to open the top hatch, and this increases exponentially with more Kerbals approaching. Following Event 415-A-1, should the upper hatch be opened with more than one Kerbal moving the upper access wheel at once, all Kerbals attempting to leave a 1 kilometer area centered on DCE-415-A must be terminated. Following Event 415-A-2, DCE-415-A is to be declared indestructible and all Kerbals requesting permission to attempt destruction of DCE-415-A must be terminated. Following Event 415-A-3, DCE-415-A is not to be moved under any circumstances.

Event 415-A-1: Dr. [REDACTED] proposed a test involving the opening of the upper hatch with two Kerbals. The area in which DCE-415-B spread was 400 meters.

Event 415-A-2: Dr. [REDACTED] proposed the destruction of DCE-415-A. The result of the damage was DCE-415-B spreading over a potentially infinite area. It stopped at the shore, however, seemingly unable to cross the water.

Event 415-A-3: Dr. [REDACTED] proposed moving DCE-415-A to an underwater site to prevent DCE-415-B from spreading. Halfway onto the aquatic vessel intended to transport DCE-415-A, the upper hatch burst open, allowing DCE-415-B to spread across approximately 500 meters. However, it seemingly refused to spread onto the vessel.

Note 1: What the hell IS DCE-415-B anyway? It\'s shadowy, it\'s somewhere between liquid and solid, it doesn\'t like water, it likes sunlight, and nothing we have does anything to it! -Dr [REDACTED]

DCE-456:

Object #: DCE-456

Object Class: Ceter-Keter

Preventative Measures - DO NOT ATTEMPT ANYTHING AT ALL. It is extremely dangerous to even get close to it!

Never approach it. Make sure you never orbit Kerbol at an altitude of 200,000 M. If possible, send unmanned probes only. Also, TAKE NO PHOTOS. If you look at it and think of any shade of gray, you will go insane and try to commit suicide.

Description - The ship MSAAU KST I was doing a routine satellite launch into Kerbol orbit when the saw

a perfectely round sphere made of an element that looked like silver. They launched a probe into it to see what it was made of.

Then, Alan Kerman went insane and opened the airlock and jumped into the sphere. All of the sudden, the crew started to bleed.

The cause of the bleeding was unknown. Then, the crew tried to return home. But, the sphere had somehow locked them in orbit around it.

The crew died of starvation/asphixiation.

--UPDATE--

It appears, the thing is made of a newly discovered element called 'Tridurman' which causes the average Kerbal to transmit pain to nearby Kerbals. It can also emit deadly levels of radiation. The reason why Alan Kerman went insane, is because Tridurman also causes insanity if you look at it and think of any shade of gray. Tridurman can also incinerate anything it comes into contact with.

Modifications can be made to any DCE file at any period of time.

To be fair i think everyone has the same privilege to map commonly known entities, you don\'t need to be high and mighty and \'\'reserve\'\' the good stuff to yourself, you\'ll scare away potential contributors.

Ok, but even if someone writes their own we will still have our own version in the first post. Submitted versions will go in the second.

EDIT: What I\'m saying is, we are not simply going to throw away everything we have thought up for a certain DCE because someone wrote their own version before us.

Ok. If this is fake, here is one then.

Object #: DCE-456

Object Class: Keter

P.S Can I make more than one?

Maybe it wasn\'t such a good idea going so high, that we have major gaps in the numbers.

It may sound a little off, but I think that it\'s not a bad way to do things. You can say that this is all that\'s been declassified so far; the actual SCP list itself isn\'t very complete either.

Oh. I didn\'t think of it that way. That works.

Though the SCP list isn\'t complete in the 1000-1999 range currently, 1-999 are full.

If I am allowed to make more than one, here are a few.

Object #: DCE-006

Object Class: Auge

Preventative Measures - The best thing you can do is, try to flee. There is nothing, I repeat nothing that can stop it. If a Kerbal wants to examine it,

make sure no more than 1 Kerbal goes out and examines it. Or else bad things will happen. But, it is safer to just explore it with probes.

Description - **NOTEBOOK BEGIN** During a mission to one of my Mun bases, we saw an odd bit of debris floating around the Mun. We decided that we had enough fuel to go look at it, so we did.

We found out that it was an old space station. We decided to do an EVA to go explore it and see where/when it was from. When we had entered, there was still life support so we decided to take our helmets off.

After about 10 minutes of exploring, we found and old decayed Kerbal body. We found out that his name was [DATA RETRACTED}. He was part of a mission to put a space station in orbit around the Mun. They had lost contact with it and they presumed them dead.

We had reported to mission control, but they yelled at us and told us to leave ASAP. We were heading for the airlock when we saw a dark shadow move by us. We had reached the airlock but it was stuck. We told mission control and they said 'Good Luck. You\'ll need it.'.

I had looked around, and {DATA RETRACTED} was gone. We heard screaming from the area where we found the dead astronaut and found {DATA RETRACTED} was murdered (And in a very gruesome way.). We saw the shadow again and decided to follow it. I had look around to see {DATA RETRACTED}, and he was holding a welding torch and was trying to kill me with it.

I had kicked him into an escape pod and fired it at Kerbol. I am now alone in the station. Whoever finds this, please take my body back home and give it a prop--**END OF NOTEBOOK**

Object #: DCE-007

Object Class: Safe

Preventative Measures - Just avoid 521,812 M around Kerbin.

Description - Deadly levels of radiation. Nothing too serious, just avoid it or your Kerbals will mutate/die.

Object #: DCE-008

Object Class: Euclid

Preventative Measures - Never enter the base, or you will die a horrible death.

Description - There is a base on Kerbin at {DATA RETRACTED}. Many have tried to go into it, and have died from unknown causes. But awhile ago, we sent a probe into it and discovered that some robots are running a genetic modification base and experiment on Kerbals.

Here is information about the last crew that went into it.

Mission: {DATA RETRACTED}

Crew: {DATA RETRACTED}

Cause of death: Multiple seizures and cardiac arrest.

Description: They had entered the base at 12:00 AM to go and see what was in this mysterious base. He and his crew had then left 2 days later. When they had left, they had the following: Severe Coughing, Huge Rashes, Faster Heartbeat, Constant Sneezing, and they had Blurry vision.

Object #: DCE-009

Object Class: Ceter

Preventative Measures - Try to knock it into Kerbol. And, do not activate it! Use robots only!

Description - A massive laser array pointing at Kerbin. Most people have the urge to press the big red button and activate it. The laser array has enough lasers to destroy Kerbin.

DCE-010

Class: Harmless Ceter

Description:

DCE-010 is a [REDACTED] Class battleship, floating adrift in the [REDACTED]. The battleship is manned with a crew of currently observed 52 skeletons. These skeletons move around without muscles or attached strings/motors. The battleship is surrounded by DCE vessels armed with nuclear warheads. Airborne drones are flying at 20,000 feet above the craft at all times. The vessel floats freely, even though there is smoke exiting the stacks behind the bridge.

Containment Protocol:

DCE-010 is to be observed in case of it floating towards shore kept within the pre-determined perimeter provided by the fleet surrounding the vessel. If the vessel approaches the fleet, shots are to be fired. If the vessel returns fire, the nuclear-tipped cruise missiles on board are to be used to attempt to sink the ship. No one is allowed to enter the containment perimeter. Anyone who wonders close to the perimeter is to be captured, administered a Class-A Amnesiac, and be released at their home.

ADDENDUM (2/2/20--): Incident Report #3057

In Incident #3057, three DCE Class-3 agents attempted to board the vessel in attempt to negotiate the containment of the vessel. The 49 skeletons onboard all approached, and simultaneously grabbed the three DCE agents. The flesh on the agents disintegrated, and the three agents began to act as part of the crew of the ship. They never attempted to escape.

After this incident, the DCE anomaly #010 is to changed from Harmless class to Ceter class, and all containment protocols are to be changed instantly. No one is allowed to approach the vessel within 9 miles. The containment fleet is to form a 4 mile perimeter. The protective fleet is to form an 8 mile perimeter. Nuclear warfare against the vessel is authorized by Senior Agent [DATA EXPUNGED].

P.S Can I make more than one?

Of course, just a few problems though - Object class should only use the first row of options.

Example - Ceter

You can just leave it like that.

No need for all caps to get your point across. You can use underline/bold which looks more professional.

EDIT - look at Dogon11 DCEs for example, they\'re pretty close to our standards.
