The V2 Replica

"The V-2 (German: Vergeltungswaffe 2, "Retribution Weapon 2"), technical name Aggregat-4 (A-4), was the world's first long-range[4] guided ballistic missile. The missile with a liquid-propellant rocket engine was developed during the Second World War in Germany as a "vengeance weapon", designed to attack Allied cities as retaliation for the Allied bombings against German cities. The V-2 rocket also became the first artificial object to cross the boundary of space with the vertical launch of V-177 on 20 June 1944.[5]" - Wikipedia

I created this replica to be as accurate as possible, down to the paint job. It was my first attempt ever at "painting" a rocket, and to be honest the first true replica rocket I have built. (Apollo Mission coming soon!) I learned a lot from it. To "paint" it, i used empty heat shields, as well as backward antennas, which are the only true black parts (not grey, like ore tanks).

The craft is however roughly 300 parts, and lags A TON. Also due to ascetics the rocket is no where near it real weight, (a lot more) it is just a replica of size, shape, and looks. I have been really lazy to get this out, and I have FINALLY (lets see if its out before 12) gotten around to releasing it. Have fun flying!

Majorjim: Lets just say alot... Its really just a showroom thing, it lags a ton :)

pTrevTrevs: Idk really the range, although it is less than the real life version. Even empty heat shields are heavy!

Fair enough man, I am not adverse to a high part count for detail sake! Do you have Kronal Vessel Viewer? It can show a lot more detail if that's what you want to show off.
