I already made a little comsat + lifter, it's a little overbuilt though. Here's the KerbalX link: http://kerbalx.com/legoclone09/Comsat-1-+-Lifter

Yeah, the cargo one might be useful.

It uses service bays. Are you sure about this? XD

EDIT: You know what, I'll just give you the manned version and you figure out how to cargo-ize it w/out using glitchy parts. I can't think of how to at the moment. Here you go: http://kerbalx.com/Findthepin1/OAV-Standalone In Stock KSP it has 2516.37m/s of delta vee but I'm not sure what that translates to with all the mods in the save(s) for Real Space Program.

Here's a list of people who have signed up on this thread:

Flight Director: ZooNamedGames

Booster: Dman979

Guidance (Guido):

Tracking (Track):

Range:

Recovery (if applicable):

Public Affairs officer (PAO): CliftonM

Payload Operations Officer: Gaarst

Launch Operations Director:

LV Development team: Mad Rocket Scientist; kmMango; Joco223; legoclone09

Graphics: asdii1970

I also have a couple of suggestions about roles, these are just like a big pile of my ideas, so don't feel any pressure to use them, I don't really understand all the roles:  Could Launch Operations Director be merged with something else?  Could Recovery be merged with something else?  Maybe there should back-up positions for roles, so that if one person doesn't show up, someone else can do his/her job?  Should the Payload Operations Officer's duties be split among the rest of the crew?

Here's an idea, but then again, @ZooNamedGames is the authority on this:

  • Flight Director
  • Public Affairs Officer
  • Booster, Launch and Recovery Director (merged position)
  • Guidance and Tracking Director (merged position)
  • Range and Safety Officer
  • Payload Operations
  • LV Development Team

Just my two cents!

That seems good too, I have no idea how much each role has to do, though.

And, my 100 ton vehicle is done!  What should I call it?

Thank you thank you thank you, I've been busy and slowly been trying to figure this out on my own, I'll update later today. Thank you.

As to splitting it the role of POO ( -.- I did not think of the acronym for that role). Ahem, the role of POO, is to specifically work with the payload and how it works, I'd like to not split it up since that means more players and that much harder to liftoff, reminding you of the previous program.

I'd be ok with this for the most part, the only complaint is booster has to run the game, transmit Telemachus data and probably host a server. Unless one of the other roles can host one.

@ZooNamedGames, I might have a bit of lag on the stream.  Is that OK?  What's been happening is it gets worse as it goes.  I've managed to contain that part, though, so it's only a tiny bit higher than normal.

Also, what time zone are you in?

RVE is making it look worse, so I'm not using it for now.  If I can find a way to fix it, I'll use it, but my computer can handle the highest resolution textures, so I think that makes up for it.  I also have a new skybox and reflections on helmets, etc.

Are you using the 64-bit hack? That may help you a bit, if worst comes to worst, I might be able to help you by setting up an install for you.

I'm on Mac, therefore the 64 bit hack is a downgrade from x86.

I've heard the 64-bit hack is more stable than x86 on Mac. Not sure if it is, just heard it somewhere though.

It really isn't.  Besides, x86 is able to have more mods.

Wait, what do you mean able to have more mods? I'm confused

Different architectures have different memory limits.  x86 can use more memory than x64.

I know that, I was talking about 64-bit, like x86_64 which is used for 64-bit on Linux.

On Mac, it's an 86 bit build, unlike other ones.  That's why the 64 bit hack would be a downgrade.  The only reason for me to use it is if my computer cannot handle it.  Because it can handle it, I'm not using it.

Oh, that's awesome! So it can have more mods than a 64-bit install?

Depending.  You need to make sure you have enough RAM.  Linux 64 bit is actually better performance-wise.
