Mine was "A guide to the change to the forums" right here in the kerbal network, right after the new forums came out.

I don't know about stickied threads, but one of my threads was long and heated and was pretty sticky if you ask me.

I've been in the forums for 2 months now and i still don't know what stickied means ....Will someone please enlighten me?

I believe it was a post with known issues in the Support forums, back in 2012.

never had one...  not exactly positive what they are... is it contagious?

This one was my first and, so far, my only one. It somehow ended up pinned to the top of the Science forums as Thread of the Month for a while. Must have been a slow month or something?

Wait. What? I don't have that many stickies. The ones that are we're stuck because they were necessary (i.e. name change thread) my only sticky that wasn't like that was my stargazing thread. And it's not stuck anymore. TOTM thing.

A sticky is a post that has been "stuck" to the top of a forum, so that stays visible, even without activity.  They have circular green icons with pushpins in them right beside the thread title.
