Deddly
Hmm... Everyone has such high expectations. The trick is to not expect too much otherwise you're going to be disappointed, no matter how nice the news is. What we do know so far: 1) 1.1 is not being released (source: they haven't had experimentals yet) 2) 1.1 is not going into experimentals (source: @KasperVld said they're not quite ready for that, in this very thread) 3) All the pitchforks have sold out worldwide. Stop panic-buying, people.

But what exactly are experimentals...? Experimentals are just another step in the software development/testing process that SQUAD uses. It is the step between QA and Release where the software version goes from being tested by the QA group to being tested by a larger group called the Experimentals group. Basically, to any normal player of KSP, Experimentals just means we're 1 step closer to the new release. In the past Experimentals have lasted around 2 weeks IIRC. It sometimes takes longer is game breaking bugs are found, but Experimentals is usually the point where the player base starts getting excited and ramped up for the new release. It is also the point where @GregroxMun generally starts the Hype Train rolling. Edited February 10, 2016 by Ignath
