Awesome. I've seen a lot of concept art which has the shuttle launched by a larger (though suborbital) shuttle. Did you get the influence to do this from pics like that?

Yes... and also from EJ_SA... he's the best KSP streamer...

How well do each of them fly separate and together? Is it like flying a double-decker bus?

That was the hardest part of the development process, make the craft fly stable alone, with payload, with the shuttle, etc...
And yes, I managed to make it stable in any plausible situation... Just needs an experienced pilot...

It is practically stock... only uses the Asteroid Day mod antenna and Adjustable Landing Gear... because the actual stock gears are no Go...

I think I heard somewhere we will soon be getting adjustable landing gear. I hope we do!
