I can post a quick and dirty (as in messy) list from MM's and KSP-AVC's list. I'm beginning that testing to see what is causing it, starting with the most likely suspects which I already named.

Maybe the same thing that's adding extra to the pilot in my main game?

Any chance you were switching between Engineer Focus III and Pilot Focus III during the session where you had crazy high ISP values?  I found one place where info from one strategy could leak to the other.  I've fixed that in the dev dll - give that a go in case that's affecting it too.

Nope, haven't used engineer focus actually, but I'll check out that dev dll. Also going to go and test on the branchoff because long loading times due to lots of stuff, plus it'll be quicker. Also, I'm using a copy of the same test copy save that I was using on my main game.

Edit: Okay, this just got complicated. I put those three mentioned in my branchoff ksp and the problem didn't reproduce, so, there may be a multi-mod interaction here. Don't know what. Didn't actually grab that dll yet.

Edit2: This got strange, after I removed those three in my main, went into the game (and loaded the save and all that), exited the game, put those three back in, went back to the save and the problem disappeared. Then I tried loading a quicksave I made before I had removed those three and the problem was still gone.

edit3: I'm going to start a new (cheated) game and do some observation

edit4: @nightingale Is kerbal experience supposed to come into play? Because a zero experience Jeb has a smaller boost than what it's supposed to be. Using a zero experience Bill, the number is unchanged from the VAB. Going to check the branchoff real quick to use as a control though.

I suspect the change I made might've fixed things up (or if there's multiple issues it fixed one of them).

Kerbal experience should not come into play at all - only the trait.

Just checked that in the branchoff and it's working as it should there. Probably confused myself by changing the craft.

Anyway, baseline set and marked down, now going to see if kerbalstats is affecting it somehow via experience.

edit: It seems to be fixed up, yeah. Maybe removing those and re-inserting reset it or something.

Going to look into those other engines which had funky behavior.

After documenting and confirming the problem still exists with the liberator engine, I checked the lightbulb and that is still having a problem. I decided to go and test with the atomic age mod since it'll be less complicated to test with. edit: Confirmed fine on my branchoff KSP.

edit2: The binary search ended up not working (I've had the engine suddenly not be affected before), put everything back and the problem didn't reproduce. Tried the liberator again and the amount still decreases, though not by as much, double checked the lightbulb and that's still fine. I don't know what the heck is going on, how does removing mods and putting them back in reset it? Makes no sense to me.

edit3: I started doing the binary search again and decided to do it a bit more carefully. Also, potential cause: Tweakableeverything? edit4: Nope.

@nightingale What's your full mod list that you normally play with along with Strategia? I'm just wondering because it's being elusive with binary search and I'm going to have to do a less efficient piece by piece (small groups of mods at a time) method. If I know what you usually use, I can eliminate some at the start.

Okay.... I put everything back in again and the problem disappeared. I have no idea.....

Have you tested it with tweakscale though? I use tweakscaled tanks and engines often with heavy lifting launch vehichles and while the heavy lifter that I checked looked better with the TWR and deltaV, but I'm not sure how tweakscaled engines would affect the bonus, whether it overdoes the bonus or not, didn't look like it. Just thought it might be something to take a quick look at.

Didn't directly test, but took a look at the code and TS doesn't seem to change ISP, just thrust, so should be okay.

Just wanted to drop a note regarding a fun fact / mild exploit. 

I've just finished setting up a Minmus mining operation with an orbital refinery in my 3x career game.  One of the strategies I'm using is Massive Scale Launches II.  My mining ship is approximately 115 tons when it reaches orbit.  So...

I get 100,000 funds and 25 reputation every time it makes a run.  Mining never looked so good.:cool:

I'm thoroughly enjoying this mod.

You know, I kind of like getting a reward for a big launch elsewhere. Have you considered simply dialing it back for other bodies instead of eliminating it altogether? Maybe by multiplying it by the strength of the body's gravity compared to Kerbin, so a big Mun launch would get 1/6 of the amount?

You know, I kind of like getting a reward for a big launch elsewhere. Have you considered simply dialing it back for other bodies instead of eliminating it altogether? Maybe by multiplying it by the strength of the body's gravity compared to Kerbin, so a big Mun launch would get 1/6 of the amount?

It's really meant to be for new launches, but maybe I could slot that in as part of the level 3 bonus (the free launchpad repairs is pretty lackluster).  It would have to scale based on planet mass though - I'd want to give almost nothing for a Gilly launch, for example.  Raised #29.

I've just started a new career with Strategia, which looks great, but I've immediately encountered a problem: I'm being told by Administration that I can't have more than one active strategy at my current level (the starting level), even though Strategia allows for 2 active strategies at the starting level. I've checked and I'm not using any other mods that alter how many active strategies there can be. Any help would be great thanks.

I wonder if that would work for Extraplanetary Launchpads.....

At first glance, it could seem like something that could be gamed, but you have to invest time and resources into building (and fuelling) a craft.

Right now (in dev) I have it set to check for the homeworld flag - meaning it'll only work for Kerbin, regardless of EPL use.  For the proposed change I think it can definitely be gamed for places like Gilly (30 m/s to orbit) - which is why I'd need to scale the reward in some way.  If a player wants to repeatedly land and take off from Gilly for 500 funds and 0.5 reputation, then I won't stop them. :)

Yeah, sorry about that - turned or the effort needed to support them is pretty significant, so needed to push that off again.

another note on the contract slot machine, not sure if intended but sometimes you would get a contract with a higher advance amount then the fail amount, so you could just cycle contracts to exploit for money (though it is inefficient with how much time it takes to find ones like that.)
