The Kearjet MK-1 is a twinjet bussines/leisure aircraft, designed to carry 4 pax and 1 crew in a luxurious cabin, with medium range and at high subsonic speeds.
It is an excellent plane for pilots seeking to transition from light piston twins or high-performance single engine aircraft, due to its flight characteristics, wich include:

  • ·         Fun and forgiving to fly.
  • ·         Very Stable, just trim it and it flies hands-off, no SAS required.
  • ·         Gentle and predictable stall, with no tendency to drop a wing as long as reasonable yaw angles are maintained.
  • ·         Given enough altitude, and centered controls, it will recover itself from most anormal attitudes, including spins and dives.
  • ·         Flies perfectly well both in stock and Ferram Aerospace Research aerodynamic models, altough cruise speed is somewath better in FAR, due to less viscous atmosphere, but with increased takeoff roll and marginally reduced climb performance.
  • ·         While not a sports champion by any means, it can perform mild aerobatics, for those passengers that simply refuse to shut up.
  • ·         Optional Mechjeb Module variants included, for a relaxing autopilot cruise.
  • ·         The plane comes in three variants, fully fueled, 2/3 fueled and 1/3 fueled, so you can easily fly a lighter, higher performance model for short hops, without having to waste time manually editing fuel tank levels and worrying about potential center of gravity issues.
