Is it possible to get an orbit that looks like this?

I once tried to simulate gravity with a computer program and goofed up on the force calculation. The pull ended up being constant, and that orbit is exactly what was produced.

Indeed, that's what you would expect if the gravitational pull were constant at all distance, but then, such a universe would most likely have collapsed in on itself long before life would have had a chance to form (guess).

@spl1nt The drawn line is elliptical, but the position of the planet must be on one of the foci, meaning it should be on one of the sides, not exactly on the middle. As Kepler said, "The orbit of every planet is an ellipse with the Sun at one of the two foci." In this case, planet means ship, and sun whatever it is orbiting.
