SSTO reentry

So I never would have thought this was possible but I managed to do it the other day and it shocked the heck out of me.  It took a lot of skill and a lot of luck to survive.  I had a single stage to the Mun orbit for a crew transfer and on the way back it just so happened to work out nicely that the return trip was 1d 0h 7m to PE.  PE was right on top of the KSA.  Normally I do 2-3 breaking orbits before landing but today I decided to see if I could get the beast down in 1 aero break.  Long story short I spent 90% of reentry at 98% heating limit for the cockpit, had to do S turns dives and pulls and finished doing a corkscrew into final at 1200 m/s stoping with less then 5m of runway left.  My only regret no screen shots

At least you have an SSTO to possibly crash... Mine never make it past 20,000 meters if they have a purpose.

Yeah, I almost did this while coming back from Minmus. PE was near the KSA and at 12km height.
