Based upon the blue-white texture created by NovaSilisko for Alternis Kerbol's Jool, this yellow-green Jool recolor makes the planet Jool a little less excessively green, and a little more Jupiter-like.

It is important to note that this is not a TextureReplacer texture. This is a Kopernicus pack, which means you need to have Kopernicus and ModuleManager for this to work!

This is a spinoff product from the upcoming Revamped Stock System (RevSS) which is coming soon™.

NovaSilisko has said several times that he regrets the powerful coloration of the planets Eve and Jool. In fact, the inspiration for this comes from here. (indeed, so does much of Revamped Stock System)

Well, it looks very nice!

Almost certainly won't.  The biome map I use in my mod is based on the texture  used in my mod.  This is a different texture, the cloud band borders are different too.  So I expect it wouldn't line up at all.

Beautious! I wonder how the big spot lines up with @Snark's Jool Biomes.

Actually, thinking about it a bit more:  It's true that this texture wouldn't line up with JoolBiomes' biomes at all.

However, if @GregroxMun wanted to be cross-compatible with JoolBiomes, it would be pretty easy-- just include a ModuleManager .cfg file with an AFTER[JoolBiomes] section in it, which points the biome map at this mod instead of JoolBiomes.  Then just include a .png biome map with this mod, which lines up with the new GregroxMun retexturing, that has the same colors as JoolBiomes' biome map.  Then it would simply work, and you'd get all the different science descriptions from JoolBiomes for free.

It would be pretty seamless.  The four biomes that JoolBiomes adds are Equatorial Cloud Belt, Temperate Cloud Belt, Polar Cloud Belt, and Great Green Spot ... and, by a happy coincidence, the particular texture that GregroxMun has produced looks like it has distinct colored cloud belts that naturally line up with those names!

So just include a biome map to match the retexture and it would be totally compatible with JoolBiomes.  :)

(It would also be possible to put the compatibility patch inside JoolBiomes instead of GregroxMun's mod, of course, but that makes less sense to me-- the biome map needs to match GregroxMun's texture, and if I added the compatibility patch to JoolBiomes, it would become out-of-date any time that Gregrox makes an update to his texture.)

Doesnt appear to be working in my game. Latest Kopernicus is installed, and no other planet modifications other than this one. No change happening in Map view.... is it only something I'll see while I'm there, or would it appear in Map view as well? Thanks.

PC - Windows 10 64-bit, KSP 1.1.2  - CKAN updated for everything.

Nice job! Do this work with Outer Planets Mod? As far as I know, that mod doesn't change anything of Jool, just add some moons to it.

Yellow-Green Jool Recolor only changes the color of Jool's atmosphere rims, its atmosphere-from-ground shader, and the cloud map texture. It does not add any moons to Jool. It should work absolutely fine with Outer Planets Mod.
