The "You know you're playing a lot of KSP when..." thread

When you're stoked by the fact that on the FRC team you mentor, at least three of the students are into KSP, and you're annoyed by a few who aren't.

When real Solar System objects seem weird and Kerbol System objects are more normal.

When you want to treat static images on the news like map view (WHY YOU NO PAN AND TILT!), especially if it's a space-themed story.

Natural logarithm. It's like regular (base 10) logarithm, but with base e (Euler's number) instead.

Edit: of course, if you work with physics, a lot of time base e seems the normal one and it's the base 10 that's weird.

but what dose the LN in the formula mean?

This isn't really the thread for this discussion. There's a great Wikipedia article on Delta V and dozens if not hundreds of threads on this forum about it.

To get back in the theme of the thread, you've played too much KSP if you can describe what Delta-V is without referencing the above article. :D

I agree- the point was I had the Rocket Equation written on my to-do list whiteboard.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
