All mods are compatible with 1.1 and are:
EVE, BetterBurnTime, HullCameraVDS, Kerbal Joint Reinforcement, TweakScale, Scatterer, SCANsat, Kerbal Engineer Redux, RasterPropMonitor, DMagic Orb. Science, Distant Object Enhancement, PlanetShine, RemoteTech

I suspect I have the same problem (with an SSTO). At the launch nothing is wrong but after a short while the craft shoots into the distance (as if the camera zooms out). I can't get close to the craft anymore. This happens several times during the flight. The mod's i have the same with you are: Kerbal Joint Reinforcement, TweakScale and SCANsat

I've removed Kerbal Engineer Redux and RasterPropMonitor, but those where not the cause of the problems as the problem persists. I can remember this occurring as well in a previous KSP version. At that time it was a bug in KSP, not in the mods. (somehow the mass was calculated incorrectly). Unfortunately, i can't remember what version it was.

It's a wild guess, but it might be something to do with tweakscale.

I have Similar mods, and TweakScale is the only one that I think could be causing the issue. I have had this happen multiple times during takeoff, and even when orbiting something.

I switched to a probe around Gilly, started moving, and all of a sudden, it just flew away.

This only seems to happen with craft that tend to have lots of TweakScale adjustments.

By the sounds of it, you're experiencing a bug involving Krakensbane -- the point about 6km up where KSP moves your craft to the center of the universe for more accurate physics.  Any number of mods can cause it -- when I last saw it, it was due to a symmetry bug in Realchutes.

I've encountered the same thing too, and what interesting is when you accel the time, the camera tend to go back to the correct position. go back to ksc or switch vessel can also fix. I've installed so many mods so I just cannot figure out what exactly mod caused this problem this time. or it's a stock ksp bug?

PS: same/related bug post

PS2:

I've uninstalled these mods:

docking cam

tac life support

dmagic orbital science

the camera bug never shows again. Since docking cam are officially didn't support 1.1 yet, I believe it's the docking cam that cause camera drifting problem.
