This mod was originally written by @jimj316, forked and updated by @Senshi, further updated by @Gribbleshnibit8, and finally by myself.

I've integrated both toolbars and a simple config file.

From the original posting:

A while ago I saw a request in the suggestions forum that was asking for a way to have the game generate ship names for the player. I realised that I'm always having trouble deciding on names, so I made this little plugin to help. Simply click the little button on the toolbar marked "CB" to open the menu, and poll the KSC workers what they think the ship would be named (please note, you may have to undergo some "workforce restructuring" before you get good suggestions).

This plugin will use either blizzy78's ToolBar plugin, or the stock toolbar.

There is a small config file:  ChampagneBottle.cfg, where you can specify whether to use the Blizzy toolbar or not.  If Blizzy is not available, then it will use the stock toolbar.

Thanks to:

- TaranisElsu, for his code examples

- blizzy78, for developing the Toolbar plugin

- AzziWeaver, for helping think up like half of the ship name words :3

- codepoet, for working out how to actually change the ship name textbox!

Didn't realize how much I needed this! I've already entered my pets names (Truffle and Comet) in both People and Catpeople categories. Even though Comet is a dog...

Thanks!

Awe, no 1.1 version? Would love this as I never know what to name my ships.

Nice, good to see you carrying on the torch!

I failed at keeping it up to date because of RL, as usual.

Wait, nvm. Ckan error. Tells me it's incompatible.
KSP is currently 1.1.1, Ckan entry says max version is 1.1.0

[Edit] KSP updated without telling me. :(

How did you install this?

Logs would be helpful.

Are you clicking the stock toolbar (bottom of screen) or Blizzy's toolbar?

What's supposed to happen is  an initial dialog which asks which language type you want should be displayed.  If it's not displaying, then something is wrong.

After removing Toolbar, the mod does work. No NRE's.

1) Via CKAN; I'll try a manual install.

2) How much do you want? What steps would you like me to take before submitting logs?

3) I'm using the stock toolbar.

No need, the problem is with the toolbar

I'm going to do a quick release to catch toolbar errors, it will take about 15 minutes

Oops, it's a bug, I found it

If I may be so bold.  When you have the time would it be possible to have the option of reverting back to the language select screen?  It seems once you pick a language there is no going back.

Also just a thought on this mods future.  Ever consider something like community science, where the community can submit names for addition to the mod?

THank You again for all your time and effort on our behalf.

The files are simple text files, feel free to send suggestions.

I'll look into the language select screen

heh...I am not much of a namer (most of my ships end up with names like "Sat for Polar Minmus orbit" ) which is why I installed this :)  but glad to hear you accept suggestions :)

Now working correctly.

I also second the request to be able to change language at will.
