Wow! Can't wait for those EVE (?) updates.

One bug I've discovered, though. Way-points for contracts with ground/air objectives (i.e. go to site XYZ and do x) aren't showing up anywhere. Any ideas?

I honestly have no idea about contracts, sorry :(  Its SVE :D

Is this compatible with RVE?

Also, does this work with RSS Planet Packs? Like RSS Expanded, and RSS extrasolar etc.

yeah I tried it. wasn't perfect since rve isn't exactly compatible but it looked ok. I just could get the ocean so I stopped using it

I haven't tried the RSS planet packs. SVE might be a thing in the VERRRYY NEAR FUTURE.. Don't go anywhere.

Should work to rescale the mod, yes. But it hasn't been updated in awhile so their might be problems.

Do you need scaterer? It really lags my pc out, id hope it doesn't require that.

it doesn't require it but you are going to miss out on the sun flare, the ocean FX and the atmospheres around planets. but that's about it.

BUT you wont have the flickering that comes with scatterer so that's a plus!

New update working fine only issue I'm having is I'm getting a black haloing affect around Earth

oxwJStO.jpg

Press alt+F11 and set AtmosphereGlobalScale to 1 and see if that fixes it?

ALSO do me a favor and check your cloud height is correct on earth. looks like SVE scaled wrong.

@blackrack what could be causing this? gamma/brightness too high or opengl? I'm at a loss

Someone took over RSS Expanded, it's updated now :)

EDIT: Also, do you know if Kerbal Konstructs works with this? It would be awesome to add those mods with real launch pads.

you are on OSX right?

if so that might be the issue

I cant test this on opengl :?/

I thought it might be a brightness or gamma issue but I just turned all of my setting higher and I don't see that

Negative ghost rider.. :) See my sig for specs

ah my bad... try turning your gamma down in the Nvidia control panel under Adjust Desktop Color Settings

My Setting are

Brightness: 45

Contrast: 50

Gamma: 0.65

results may vary

ALSO do you have Distant Objects installed?

Ok figured it out. I wasn't using Distant Object enhancer because I was using a texture replacer custom skybox. Even with the skybox textures removed it still haloed.  Once I copied over Distant Object the haloing went away..

Loaded game twice with DO w/ no texture replacer skybox = No Haloing

Deleted DO folder and still no texture replacer skybox - Haloing

Added DO folder back - Haloing gone

Moral of the story.. No custom skybox and must use Distant Object with the current version of SSRSS. Still seems like a bug though and DO is just masking it..  Scatter issue maybe?

This may solve that guys problem who was running OSX

The problem is soon as I deleted DO and use stock Kerbal skybox.. The haloing returns.. As added in my previous post..  This still seems like a bug and DO is masking it.   Don't take this as nagging either. :) Just hashing out a problem.. :)

Has anyone worked out a Delta-V map for this? If not, can I help?

EDIT: Nevermind, I just realized I don't have the math to be able to help!
