True enough, the only thing stopping me is the amount of engine curves I'm gonna have to edit. But I do plan to experiment on it at some point, just like the slower startups. Plan is to maintain a really low thrust up to a thinner part of the atmosphere where it should not combust anymore. Not one of the priorities atm though.

Yeah, lot of work to do if you want bit realistic, i once decided to make merlin engine copy from Kax part, single engine config was already frustating, when you try to achieve something, you'd lose something else :D

I'm a bit confused at something.

The Bf-109 engine is about 29 m/s in thrust and it is Pre-Modern.


The I-15/I-16 engine is an Old engine but it is around 52 m/s in thrust.

 

Now I'm wondering how the Bf-109 even caught up with bombers and their escorts...

Well, those configs aren't made by me. But I think that's based on the max thrust on the configs. It differs when performance curve is graphed since there are multipliers affected by speed and pressure. Which means even with lower thrust, it can get multiplied much more with specific speed and/or atmospheric pressure.

@TedwinKnockman66 Some feedback regarding the rotors are much appreciated. I'm looking to improve them.

@blackheart612 did you add any new parts or change the naming of any of them at all?

Just wonderful. 

My two cents: we really need more WING options. The stock modules look ... well not awful but less than good, and we only get a few options of wings. Maybe a next step, instead of tons of different (but similar) cockpits, could be an attempt to diversify a litte bit more our wing and control surfaces options!

Just use Procedural Wings, it makes your life so easy!

Also, are you still maintaining this?

It only needs minimal work currently - the thrusts and Isps of the stock LVT-30 and LVT-45 are now different to their replacements in the mod, and one of the other engines is off a little (iirc Poodle equivalent having 5 higher/lower sea level Isp).

I doubt that porkjet parts will be released , ever..

Well, I don't know then. I did plan to simplify the design even more. I didn't really start working on it yet. Maybe I'll make an updated rocket parts pack at some point. Though I'll stick to this pack for now :P

I understand what you'e talking about now. The reason for that is because the stock design is like that, the fuselage has those small segments protruding and clipping inside. Try the Mk1 structural fuselage, if you stack it, you're gonna have that problem as well. I could have fixed that when I made the parts, but I'm crazy so even that issue, I replicated to my parts (yep, that's intended). So now it's gonna be a pain to "fix". Which I will if people don't like it, just not as soon as I can. :P

Firespitter has a nice apache cockpit. Though, I'd like to personally, I think I need to focus on more parts, other than cockpits, especially Mk1. Look at how much Mk1s are on the OP catalog :P

I'll check and fix this, though, I think I'll withhold patches now. Aside from the fact that I'd be re-uploading a whole mod to patch one thing, the biggest issue is I can't access my curse. My password may have been reset to something else when my yahoo account registered to curse has been compromised. I can't access my curse and waiting for curse to reply on my ticket now. I could upload for a while until I stupidly logged off on my browser where I was logged in a couple of days ago.

good point, im not a huge fan of firesptter parts, but it makes sense this mod has so much more potential to this mod than MOAR cockpits.
