Shouldn't. Hopefully. Although there probably will be a launch delay because Gene makes Val go move to rover.

Ok, no chapter today, but tomorrow's chapter will have two more craft to name, plus even bigger rockets and the introduction of the rocket rover thing. Also, the next cruiser will be out the vab roof!

And... Uhhhh... Yeah... That's all I have to say...

Chapter 4.5-setting the goal. 

Intern bursts into mission control and runs up to Gene. 

Intern: Did you hear the news?!? Today @ShadowZone's space program broke a record when they sent their gargantua to Dres! 

Gene: WHAT?!? WHAT RECORD?!? 

Intern: Largest ship to orbit Dres! 

Gene: WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!!! WE WILL NOT BE BEATEN!!! 

3 minutes of planning later... 

Gene: Tell Walt to get the reporters here! Now! 

Other guy 1: Yes sir! 

At the speech place thing... 

Reporters: hey! Why are we here? Is it about Dres? I heard ShadowZone broke a record! Why did the intern mention someone on the third line? 

Gene: Be quite! 

Gene: There have been may firsts. First to sail around the world. First to fly. First to reach space. First to orbit. First to land on the mun. Then there were records. Second to land on the mun. Largest rocket, smallest eve return vehicle. But today, ShadowZone has made a new record, largest craft to orbit Dres. And we will not stand for that. We will set new records now, and by the end of summer, we will have completed it.

WE WILL SET THE RECORD FOR THE LARGEST CRAFT TO LAND ON DRES, AND NOTHING WILL STAND IN OUR WAY!!! Well, except lag, I guess. But you get the idea. 

*Reporters furiously scribbling down notes* 

Gene: WE WILL DO IT!!! WE SHALL BECOME RECORD BREAKERS!!!

I recommend installing UbioZur Welding and TweakScale.

It will slay the lag and save your CPU from melting.

It's not that big. It's only a little smaller than @Kuzzter's intrepid.

I have much bigger ones too though. They can't land, and they won't be record breakers, but I am considering doing submit a payload kind of thing.

Ok, today was lots of testing. And now, collusus will fly to Dres! Tomorrow will be chapter 5... And because you guys like it when I give you a sneak peek, here it is: 

Yes, it can get to orbit without alt-f12. Actually has a decent T/W ratio. I ran it for 30 minutes on physical time warp and it didn't run out of fuel. Begin the payload submitting tomorrow! Right after I figure out how to put them in ksp.

If you want to put the payloads in yiur game, go to KSP_win/Saves/(The nane of your save)/Ships/VAB and save the .craft file there. Easily done!

Also I have a Mün lander on KerbalX that can land on all planets except Kerbin, Tylo, Eve, Jool and Kerbol and Duna. It's tiny and has 2 km/s of Delta-V. I'm pretty sure you can fit one in your cruiser.

If it can fit in an mk3 cargo bay CRG-50, and has both forward and rear mounting points, it can go to Dres.

Val: But I was messing around with cheats, and it may have drifted away when I was flying that TIE fighter...

Bill: ok, for all you readers submitting crafts, this is the main bay where they will go. The secondary bay is behind this, but that stores to ships to KerbalOmmex landers.

Yep! That's right! It uses to same landers as the SkySlasher, except these ones are upgraded so that they can return to kerbin from low Dres orbit! 

And we are accepting craft so- 

Walt: that's an awfully big text block. I don't really think the readers will like that. 

Bill: oh, whoops! 

Jonrod: Guys stop arguing! I'm trying to go to space today! 

Bobak: booster separation. 

Bobak: Beginning gravity turn. 

Bobak: 2nd Stage separation. 

Bob: look at the mun! I wonder how Dangela is doing up there? 

Dangela over radio: AHHHHHHHHHHH!!! 

Bob: I guess not so well... 

Some random mission control dude: Hey guys were falling back into the atmosphere!!! 

Gene: revert to SPH? 

Walt: yes. 

Jonrod: I got to go to space today, so I'm happy. Do it. 

Gus: hey guys, maybe that wasn't a good idea, BECAUSE YOU BROKE THE SPH FLOOR!!! 

Gene: oops.

My mum lander can fit in a 1.75 m bay, so you could use them as test probes. It's only 900 kilos!

I just got a new mouse, so expect a chapter tomorrow! I'm thinking of using the liquid fuel and oxidizer in the SkySlasher to refuel and redirect the KerbalOmmex to the Watney or diamond tug 1, then send both of them to Dres! Then maybe collusus IV will go to Dres. Maybe. But too many spoilers for now! 

Also, I'm still accepting submissions! Please? Anyone?

Hey, I'm kinda a trajectory geek...if you wanted to, would it be possible to use a gravity assist (from Eve, Kerbin, or Duna)? If you don't want to, it's also fine.

I just eyeball it, then just turn all engines on and sit there with a book because anything bigger than a Watney won't tolerate more than 2x physics warp. Not really anything special, except the lag. I just tested the collusus V, which is the largest collusus yet, to test my new mouse (B-Day present!) and 1.1's speed.

12.5 FPS!!! 

And the mouse works, so yeah. New chapter soon!

Gerty: Crew report in the middle of a circulation burn recorded as "looks pretty." 

Gene: *faceplam* 

Linus: well, we did actually get science from that!

Bobak: Shielded port open, bay open, stable orbit reached. 

Gene: WOO HOO!!! 

Jonrod: Permission to hopefully go to Dres next chapter and stuff?

Jonrod is really stupid and isn't very courageous, in the middle of both stupidity and courage are Chrisdren and Allan. Allan is more stupid, Chrisdien is just a little more courageous than Allan. I haven't seen you in a week!

Gerty is the computer in The Kron series. (Not mine) I just used Gerty because I felt like adding another random character because I was kinda bored.

Wait, sorry, Kerty was The Kron 3 computer. Gerty is similar to Kerty (supposedly), but Gerty is the computer for all ships here, while Kerty was just the Kron 3. I chose Gerty because it sounded similar to Kerty. Also, I don't have that Iva thingy mod, so don't expect to see Gerty in game.

Chapter 7-We Will Go To Dres Today Soon! 

Jonrod: Gerty, plot me a low Delta-V trajectory to Kerbin escape. 

Gerty: Got it! 

Jonrod: Thunbs up for leaving the third stage on! 

Gerty: our target is the mun, to do a gravity assist. 

Bobak: here is the map view. That asteroid is the class C max_creative mentioned in the spoiler at the top of chapter 5. 

Jonrod: dumping third stage! Man that thing hates physical time warp! 

Gene: kill the engines. Bobak is currently plotting a new maneuver. 

Jonrod: yes sir! *presses X key* 

Bobak: here is your new burn. 3 Minutes is the longest these engines have ever burned, so this will be a good test for the radiators and endurance. 

Jonrod: 2 minutes 38 seconds left. Wow. Long burn. 

Gerty: Actually, your Dres capture burn will be even longer. 

Crew: AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! 

Gene: Great job Gerty, great job... 

Jonrod: It can take 4x physical warp, because of no thrust vectoring and lots of struts. *thumbs up* 

Allan: Mission control, we are going to Dres. Prepare the 3 Weirdness and stuff class cruisers! 

Gene: Got it! 

Gus: Rolling out Weirdness #1 now...
