My first working Mk3 space shuttle

This is my first Space shuttle. For me it\'s awesome becouse I made it Space shuttle is called 'Discovery 1' It\'s able to get on Kerbal Orbit and land back 8) I want to make a new version when Discovery 2 will be able to land on Moon and then land back on Kerbin. How do you think. This is good Spaceship ?

Considering that my best spaceplane can takeoff and fly but can\'t reach space or land without exploding, yours is aces. Seriously, though, yours is both cute and functional. I\'m jealous.

Thanks ;D I think the best spaceships are the simplest spaceships. I\'ve made Discovery 2 and I get to the Minmus but i don\'t jet try to get back on Kerbal. I\'ll send there second ship becouse i want to have one on Minmus xD

That\'s nice of you, but I prefer to go through days of rage and despair so that I can say I did it myself.

Incidentally, your ship has wheels, but looks like you land it on its belly. What\'s that about?

If I land on Kerbin on terrain I use atmosphere to slow down. When the speed is ~70 m/s I can easly land. Then I\'m waiting when space shuttle slow down to ~10 m/s and then I hide wheels and It stops.

If I land on Minmus on Moon then It\'s harder. I have to do a 'soft landing' (I think you know what it is ) When the speed is ~1m/s I twist space shuttle on the chassis and I have to wait untill it stops. That\'s it ;D

When you\'re rolling you can use the B key to apply brakes. I didn\'t know about that until somebody told me, too.

YAY! I finally made one that works, too! Mine is like the real shuttle: just delivers payloads to orbit, then lands. In the picture, it has just landed safely after orbiting during its first non-test flight.
