Hello everyone,

This is my first mod for KSP, indeed this is my first mod of any kind for any game. It's a little mod which I created for my own enjoyment, which I find useful and wanted to share. I expect nobody else will find it useful (and/or the functionality already exists) but hey, you never know. Anyway....

About

Assembly Fuel Utility is a very simple mod for Kerbal Space Program which allows you to easily adjust the fuel levels in all your fuel tanks in the SPH and VAB.

I created it mainly for my own use when building balanced space planes, but thought I would share it in case anyone else finds it useful and/or informative.

Looks very nice! A few ideas, although I'll understand if you want to keep it simple

Some ideas:

  • an option to respect ratios between fuels (LF/OX, LH2/OX,etc)
  • numerical input field for precision (probably not at necessary)

edit: I think the OP needs to list the license too by the way.

@charliedrewitt

This mod would quite useful to use with real fuels to drain tanks before building a rocket,  so they can be fueled on the pad, and just easier fill/draining in general as RO rocket have a lot more tanks and fuel types, but I looked a little at the code and saw that fuel names are hard coded in the plugin currently. It would be awesome for it to automatically get names/types instead of having to manually added them and recompile. Otherwise people may request adding all the potential fuels in the CRP. Just some ideas, and it's perfectly alright if you want to keep is simple/geared toward stock, but this mod does have potential outside that. Nice work! :)

@Deimos Rast Version 1.1.0 has the ability to set a specific value using a text box for each fuel type. I'm not too sure on the ratio of fuels being fairly new to KSP and unfamiliar with the various types of fuel and their specific ratios. Is there a reference for this anywhere?

@Svm420 This is a good point. I have added fuel auto discovery in version 1.1.0. It's been tested (quickly) with Real Fuels & Stock and seems to work OK. Please let me know if you find any problems with it.

Thanks again everyone for your feedback and comments, I really do appreciate it!
