Animation playback speed issue Unity->game

It's been a very long time since I built a model and for some reason I always used to find all the issues possible with animations anyway.... but:

I knocked up a simple model with doors ( in Max ), imported to Unity 5.2.4f1 with Rig-Legacy/Store in Root(new), Bake off, compression off, wrap default. Assembled the model structure in Unity & the 5 sec/150 frame anim plays at the right speed in the editor window, not just the import preview. However... if I point ModuleAnimateGeneric at it in game the animation's actions are all still fine, it's just it does everything more or less instantly.

I'm sure either I forgot something dumb or it's something to do with U5 I haven't dug out yet, but anyone got any ideas?
