Unmanned flight glitch

I built a ship with an unmanned probe, but when I launch it there is a kerbal pilot assigned! I don't wanna use the poor kerbal, I don't know how to fix this.

Go to the crew tab in the VAB. Click the little "X" next to the name of the Kerbal who is in the pod.

Can you show a screenshot of your probe?

Or, EVA them on the launch pad and press space so they fall (don't worry, they survive like 99.99999999% of the time), press "[" or "]" to switch back to your rocket and launch (again, the flames won't hurt the Kerbal).  Later "recover" your kerbal.
