Do you suffer from space junk?

  1. 1. Do you encounter space junk and how often?

    • Yes, I have my ships crashing into junk all the time.
      2
    • No, but I have plenty of debris on orbit.

    • No, I deorbit all the debris.

    • My craft crash on takeoff, so the debris are buried in the ground.

I terminated all my debris before 1.1.

Now I keep all of it 'cause it looks fun all over.

Designing a mission to clean it up would be very interesting... Like how much I can bering home with the minimal tech/part-count/launches... Though actually flying it... so many dull rendezvoui (what's the plural of that word anyways?) to preform.. Think I'll skip it. On the other hand... can't wait for my debris to become actually dangerous. Equatorial LKO between 70-100 is pretty busy.. So for increased fun, I do everything there that could be done elsewhere.

I was just beginning my career save, and I had a contract "get into orbit around kerbin." Piece of cake, I thought. So I made a nice ship and got to orbit. I had just decoupled the orbit-achieving stage, and, seeing that the contract was complete, I made my deorbiting burn....

And collided with my stage I had just decoupled. Contact with jebidiah was lost. He's probably still up there, with the remains of his ship marked as debris.

Thats why I don't get rid of my debris. In hopes that one day, I'll see him whizzing by me in his broken remains of a capsule.
