Open Broadcaster works great.

Press windows + g and click the red button maby it does not work the first time just try a few times and it should work

I haven't tried it in 1.1.3 yet, but windows recording worked for me in previous versions.

but this is in 1.1.3

When using Nvidia shadowplay I had to set it to allow desktop recording, then it recorded fine.

A lot of people have trouble recording because the game isn't running in true full screen mode.

It's basically running in "fullscreen borderless window" mode even when set to "fullscreen" which can mess with a lot of recording software.

wow. I haven't used FRAPS since WinXP - I didn't know people still used it.

Both fraps and OBS works without a hitch for me under win10-64 (with an old nvidia 5xx gpu).

A friend got it for me about 4 years ago. Currently I use OBS since it's more reliable and easy to work with.

What's "windows recording"?  Is it one of those 'features' that Win 10 is full of, which are worse than any other option but (almost) impossible to uninstall?

OBS and ShadowPlay working fine - although Win 10 AU is busy trying to kill my machine as I type.

Guess they are talking about the idea of recording the contents of a window? No idea whether that's a windows10 feature. Haven't bought any windows version since 2000/ME and I am doing quite fine. (Unfortunately I have to use something called Windows 7 at work which freaks me out)

Does anyone know how to make OBS output real video? Every time I use it, it captures sound perfectly, but the entire video is the exact same frame, there isn't any actual video.
