Hello,

Has anyone ever had this?

BCEAC56485948E0B0442A09622E5503C0ED6EA72

And now, even I restart the game, I always gets this.

It's happened suddenly, without change nothing. Before, I was getting this:

74D8882D3F61F081635981C4CF626FCF40F80202

If anybody have a solution, I'm there...

It's a Unity bug. Happens in stock too. It's made worse when using hyper edit. If you use that, I recommend removing it

Hello,

I find the visual aspect of Kerbin with the mod and KSP 1.2.2 less impressive than with KSP 1.1.3 (I understand that it is more realistic now, but it was magnificent ! :wub:).

Is it possible to have the old aspect in 1.2 ? And if yes, how ?

Thank you for your quick reply !

I don't use HyperEdit, I only use cheat from the game for my tests. So, I think I must live with this bug. :mad:

Otherwise, I wanted to say you I like what you've made with the clouds of every planets. Thank you for this mod!

I had that problem for a week or so several months ago but then it magically went away so there is hope for you.  I do recall messing around with Scatterer in order to get rid of some 'bad' shadows I did not like around the KSC, but I can't imagine how that would have solved my terrain issue that looks very similar to yours.

I did not have SVT installed at the time either fyi.

Good luck! :)

How do I edit your config to remove your sunflare and use someone elses?

This is how I make sure I always have my own sunflare:

@Scatterer_sunflare:FINAL
{
  !Sun {}
  Sun
  {
    // your config here
  }
}

Just paste the contents of the config file you currently use in place of where the comment is

Is anyone else getting this error when trying to update "Stock Visual Enhancments-High Res Textures" on CKAN or have any ideas how to fix?

The following inconsistencies were found:
EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements depends on EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements-Config but it is not listed in the index, or not available for your version of KSP.
 * SVE-HighResolution depends on StockVisualEnhancements but it is not listed in the index, or not available for your version of KSP.
 * SVE-Scatterer-Config depends on StockVisualEnhancements but it is not listed in the index, or not available for your version of KSP.

I am running KSP 1.2.2.1622 and can use SVE without any issues currently, I just cannot apply the latest update.

Never mind I just found this

Who knows which file I have to delete in order to remove them ?

Use this MM patch to undo SVE's MM patch that adds rings:

@Kopernicus:FINAL
{
	@Body[Jool]
	{
		!Rings {}
	}
}

A couple of questions @Galileo or any other pros regarding some of the ‘Kerbin-MainClouds’ values (using latest EVE using latest SVE)….

So I read somewhere back on this thread (or possibly the EVE thread) that lowering the second ‘area’ value in the ‘layerVolume’ section can also help increase framerate.  Currently the two Kerbin-MainClouds sections in the config file have the following default values:

size = 3000,3

area = 18000,4

-------

size = 5000,2

area = 15000,3

1. Do these area values need to be full numbers or will it process/take decimals as well?  I lowered them to 3.8 and 2.8 (from the 4 and 3 densities above) and it seems to have made a difference to my framerate (+5-7 or so).  When I tried 3 and 2 for these values, it did not seem to increase frame rate any more….so does it make a difference (full or partial number) or am I just not seeing things…which after playing late last night is completely possible?

2. What about lowering the 1st value in ‘area’?  Is that one worth messing around with? What does it do?

3. What about the ‘size’ values…what do they do and will altering those help any?

FYI….I have already reduced my ‘distance’ to 5000 and that helped a good deal but I love to tweak stuff and would appreciate some instruction on how these other values affect the cloud stuffs (aka, if they are worthy of messing around with for frameratyness because sometime I can’t tell a difference and am not too code savvy). :)

Thanks a ton guys…I did search and then scour through both EVE/SVE threads for any other info on this before asking so sorry if Jeb and I missed it!

Hi everyone

I love this mod and the extra immersion it brings. I seem to have one problem though: The sun.

As you can see in the screenshot, the sun is white with ugly lines coming out of it, and nothing like the sun I'm seeing in other people's beautiful screenshots. I've installed all the mods in the OP, in the order that they were listed.

Any ideas?

Hi, I'm having a problem where my Jool and Eve are fine, but Laythe and Kerbin's clouds don't move, as well as their auroras. Also, the clouds look very low-resolution

Screenshot:

Also, how do you make scatterer clouds fluffy like in the screenshots?

Looks normal to me. Also, Scatterer does not do clouds, so I'm confused by what you mean

I've even tried adding Galileo's Solar Flares, and it makes no changes to my sun

The sunflares mod has instructions to drop the textures in the scatterer folder, but using them with SVE you need to put them in /StockVisualEnhancements/SVE_Scatterer/Sunflares, as SVE uses MM to override scatterer, rather than placing anything in the scatterer folder. Also, check the Galileo's Sunflares thread for more information about scaling the sunflare in the config, as that was recently discussed.

Hello.  First off I really enjoy playing with this mod.  Makes the game look amazing.  Just wanted to say that first.

I have encountered a glitch, and I think I have narrowed it down to this mod, though It may be something else that is conflicting with it.

Whenever I launch a craft and fire the engines, my orbital map does this.

17ca4e80fa.gif

This only happens AFTER i fire the engines and throttle up.  I can sit on the launchpad/runway/orbit and it's fine.  If i go back to the tracking station then back to the craft, the glitch is gone.  It's only after throttling it up that it breaks like that.

Before posting this, I did fully reinstall SVE and it's parts.  EVE, Scatterer and Textures.  First with CKAN, then Manually.

@Xiyn It's caused by scatterer, if you look deep into old replies on its thread you can find people with similar issues. Try the latest beta shared here maybe:

@Galileo You're probably not going to help me on this but I was using an older SVE where my Jool used to glow like this:

PFyodTN.jpg

j1Pdsm0.jpg

(Notice the halo around the edges softening them).

I updated and now my Jool looks like this with super sharp edges:

MXRGntU.jpg

Do you know how to return it back to how it was?
